I've been trying to watch this for nearly an hour, apparently, 47 people already have. *It's a conspiracy* Or possibly my cheap smartphone. I'll try again later. 😁 🎣
@@AnyoneForToast sorry chaps, not sure what's going on with the processing with this one! TH-cam assures me that processing of higher resolution is "Almost done" 😅
Very much enjoyed this, I scale down for the Aquarium on occasion and I have to say the fishing is just as exciting. Lovely footage, all the best from west penwith...
@@barleyarrish thanks very much for the kind words! I get just as excited fishing for the mini species as the other stuff, if not more so 🙂 all the best 👍🎣
I think I just watched your best video to date! Loved that. I've never found the decent pools out there. Must head back at some point. Cntragts again on the cling fish! 👌
Ah cheers mate, not done a rock pool video for a while! It's quite a large area to cover so it can take a bit of scrambling to find the better pools, depending on where you start off! 🎣
Thanks Rich, that was brilliant, well done on landing the big Wrasse and congratulations on the Clingfish. Sadly, due to advancing years and illness all my rockhopping has to be done vicariously but, it doesn't mean I dont enjoy watching other people succeed, gives me immense pleasure. Could you tell me what net head you use?
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it, was one of my favourite rockpooling sessions I've had! The net head is a spro freestyle, i had it with the spro freestyle handle, which didn't do too well but the head is excellent 👍🎣
Cheers Brian, I love scrambling around on the rocks! Those hooks are from Nine Seven Tungsten. We do have some good alternatives such as the Decoy SG-3 over at The Big Lerf Tackle Shop too if you're looking at options for Cheb hooks 🙂
Hey Devon. Your videos are really good and I like to watch them. I'm a new angler and planning to buy a Savage Gear SGS6 Ultralight game rod. But I can't find any review about this rod. What's your opinion about this rod? Sensitivity and casting range etc. Do you also offer another rod instead of SGS6? Regards.
@@erhn123 hello and thank you! The SGS6 is ok, fairly sensitive and reasonable casting range, but I do believe there are better options available. Was it the 0 to 5g you were looking at? If so, the Major Craft Aji-Do 5G would be my recommendation or the Aji-Do 1G for a cheaper alternative. These are much lighter, more sensitive rods, that cast really well and have amazing backbone. I have both models and never hesitate to recommend them to others 🎣
Got excited then. I'll pop back and enjoy it in it's full 4k glory once it's processed! It's been too long since the last Devon Lerfer Fix! :)

Lovely video, great fight with that big wrasse and even unlock a new specie 🤩👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks mate, that was one of my favourite sessions of last year 🙂
Great vid mate, very well done on the Clingfish, stunning fish. Such a lovely place to fish too.

Quality video Rich, that lovely wrasse was edge of the seat stuff! Well done on the clingfish! 👌👏
Thanks mate! Yeah I really thought that wrasse was gonna get the better of me 😅 thank you, was so pleased with that clingfish 🙂🎣
Incredible footage as always.really enjoyed this one
Thanks mate! 👍🎣
Great video lots of scrambling about to get to crevices ,gullets and rock pools. Where do you get the 97t hooks. You seem to use these a lot.

What hooks are you using where a 14 will fit on a cheb wire, please?
Those are from Nine Seven Tungsten mate, I believe the hook is a "Rock C"
Thanks!

@DevonLerfer What's your thoughts about Abu Garcia Diplomat X?
@erhn123 really impressed with the Diplomat X, have taken it with me abroad on a few occasions and have found it to be a great all rounder 👍
