Stunning views! The bone yard kind of makes you think of Big Foot!!!I am a serious chicken and could never have camped there😂

My wife and I were out there a couple weeks after you and started at Hellroaring to 1R1, then 1Y1, then out Blacktail Deer Creek. Amazing and so green! Best photo spot on the trip is just upstream from 1R1 high up on an overlook

How was the area around 1Y1? I'm thinking I'd like to go back sometime and see a bit more around there.

@shredhiker6209 Amazing! 1Y1 is a five star campsite with awesome beachy area. From Crevice lake to 1Y1 was some of the best canyon scenery for me which includes Knowles falls

Another great video. For future reference. The ford across the Hellroaring you referenced is impossible that time of the year, but there is a stock bridge about a mile or so to the north you can use. Also, i feel like the climb up and out of Hellroaring is easier than Blacktail.

Thanks so much! I knew I’d have to go a little further north to the bridge over the Yellowstone. It was actually Little Cottonwood Creek that was reported uncrossable. I coincidentally talked with a guide after this trip, who had a group that had to turn around there about a week prior. Thankfully he had a sat phone and was able to call & change their permit.
I really enjoyed this area though, I’d like to go back and spend a few days down there.

Been in that area. The whole canyon , all the way to Gardiner is a boneyard😂. Looked like a great overnighter. Original music again? If so…. Nice job!👍 enjoyed the video! Thanks for posting it!

Yessir, planning on doing original music for all full length videos. It’s a really stunning part of the park, I can’t believe I’d never made it down there before.

Honestly I don't remember exactly where we wound up that evening, we drove into the National Forest outside the park boundary, and rushed to find a campsite we could get to before dark.
