This is too loud, especially with the 475 cam, maybe with the stock cam it would be a bit softer. Anyway, it looks good and the build quality is really high, a great product even if expensive but it's worth, the result is great.
From a guy who’s had both, this one is significantly louder than the TBR turnout. Fit and finish is better. I’ve only been running it for about 100 miles or so but I like it a lot better than my TBR.
There’s a dude on here from NZ that has the trask assault with the s&s 550. I’ve never heard it in person but it’s what every Harley should sound like. He reckons it’s loud as f@ck. Also has had a couple of mods as well…
@tommilland329 ok so I had a trask assualt when I posted this comment. I went and ordered the big bore and let me tell you WAYYYYY louder. The trask was always loud on decel but never crazy on acceleration sound. But the big bore is crazy
About how much qould you guys quote a cam install on a M8 softail with adjustable pushrods and all customer supplied parts? How much for dyno tune, roughly speaking?
These are bullshit dyno numbers. You’re not getting that out of that cam and a 114. Just trying to sell the same 2in1 exhaust. I’ll let you rebuild my bike and if I’m wrong, I’ll pay double.
Uhhh, no. Maybe for just a cam only and stock manifold/air cleaner. But this is Throttle body and Tunnel Ram as well. Try the same combo. HPI, D&D or Bassani would have same results.
Stock my was 21 -22 grand out the door. Pipe is 1000 - 1500. Cam kit is another 1000 - 1500. Call it 26-25,000ish if you can get the dealer to sell it to you at a fair price and you do the work yourself.
Got about the same from the 465. HP 124/139 TQ. That’s on the 22ST.

Stage 2 assuming since they are running the 475
Stage 2, cam install and throttle body.

I got 124/132 from my 475 with tbr turnout exhaust Trask intake and S&S 55mm manifold only.

20k for bike. $2700 for all stage 2 parts, if you do it yourself. Rest do the bike is pretty stock. Also those dyno numbers are bullshit

With so much engine how come so little HP/Torque…dgmw, love dynas especially the LS but why so small power gains
