Some of the fastest, in-dept, reviewers. Quick and to the guts of the game. Subbed.

The tempo you put out all this content is absolutely amazing. I like the way you narrate your reviews and how you explain and justify the likes and dislikes of the games you review. I hope your channel keeps growing and you get all the subs, shares and likes you deserve. Thanks for your work!

Well, you seem to be becoming my go to for a few games recently. Was looking at picking this up as a pre owned, however we would mainly play as 2 player so based on your 2 player comments I'm gonna sack it off. Thanks for the non biased, honest review.

Enjoyed your review and agree with many of the points.
Again I don't mean to nitpick but it might be worth clarifying how the tools work. They don't actually let you roll extra dice but instead are used to add the value of the tool to the total roll. I agree that the dice can be very random, but the tools are actually quite effective at mitigating this as you know exactly what your odds are before the roll. For example you could roll a 5 and be 1 short of a gold, so you use a tool to give you a +1 and bring you up to the threshold. What's even better is that you can use multiple tools for a single roll and don't even have to commit until you see the values of the dice.
Hoping this may help your group alleviate the luck of the dice a bit. :)
EDIT - just went and looked back at the rulebook and the wording of the tools is VERY confusing but the example given makes it quite clear.

Yes you’re right! However, putting essential rules in a example on a separate page is beyond pointless.

@@BoardGameBollocks So did you play it with the wrong rule all this time? That's something I'm always paranoid about when playing new games.

I’d go with this. Viticulture is probably a notch above this so that would be my next one...not played the others.
      Have fun, mate!

Can't really go wrong with Stone Age. I think its theme is the most relatable, which is a big plus for bringing new people in.

The anniversary edition of Stone Age comes with a double sided board. One side is the classic board, the other a snowy variant. I picked up the Italian version cheap on Amazon (as the game itself is language independent) and printed off the English rules.

I did this with the standard version. Cost €14.

A great game that is still worth playing....it may be considered a gateway game, but seasoned gamers can still enjoy it

Completely agree with you...even though we goofed the tools rule in this vid
