Hi Sam good review. It helped me understand the trading rules much better (ie you can only trade ONCE and ONCE only per turn). As a note, the RGG rules say that the expansion module where you have buildings which give you a resource after you buy it have you gain that resource EVERY turn thereafter, not just after you buy it. Has the Zman rules changed that?
I have a question with the new Huts (those with the 3 new spots on them): If I get to build one of them, Am I the only owner of it so no one else can put their workers there?. Or is it open to anybody?
You only trade with jewelry? I thought the rules state that you can use resources or jewelry, or a combination of the two. I'll try only trading with jewelry and see which version I like best. P.S. Great review.
Is there any fundamental difference between the Rio Grande and Z man version of Stone Age? I have the Rio Grande version but was considering buying the ZMan expansion.IF there are differences, like say the background of the cards look different thus making you realize they are expansion cards I'd have to look for the Rio Grande version of this, or upgrade my copy of Stone Age.

I really like the expansion, btw you can trade any resource during trade ie for 2:1 you can trade a resource + jewelry, 2 jewelry or 2 resources.

It's a good expansions it makes the game just slightly complexer but in a good way

+John R I have the Rio Grande version of the base game and the Z-Man version of the expansion, and I have not noticed a difference at all.

The base game comes with the leather dice cup.
