  • Sadly due to not having a decent camera some of the footage was terrible due to being in bad light so I its a short vid today but I think it shows what it needs to :D
    It was time consuming and a lot of the time was spent soldering the wires from the controls ( Heaps of wires!! ). The cables were surprisingly easier than I thought they'd be so I was happy about that.
    I just want to reiterate this is not a "how to" video, its just to show my journey through my experiences. I'm far from an expert and people will probably cringe at how I went about it but its all part of the fun to find things out for yourself :D ... Enjoy

    I’m working on a 650 myself. It was in a garage fire. Motor turns over. I’ve started stripping it down. There will be very little chrome.
    Everything melted but motor and tires.

      Thank you very much, I was a bit hesitant to go bobber and I haven't any friends that has done it either so I just went for it and I'm happy I did :D

      Yer some of them look so good and they are well I think anyway one of the best bikes to go Bobber with. Mine I have just gone the old lower the handlebars as mush as I can and I like the side profile it gives the bike. I have no photos of that as yet.

      I'm definitely a fan of the Yamaha bobbers and I probably went toward ape hangers a little because I bought mine with Tbars and I really wanted a different look as well as comfort but nothing wrong with low bars at all.

      how does it handle with the hangers?? Coz mine with the bars lowered is very good.

      It handles pretty good, I would say better on the highway than my Tbars but slow riding its harder, atleast I find it harder slow riding but it might be just a matter of getting use to.

    Looks good but how tall are you? I'm only 5'9" and I needed a Vulcan. I felt cramped on both V-Stars I've ridden. 650 & 1100. As well as a buddy of mine's E-Glide and he's taller than me.

    So what happen to the chrome

    • @wizfiz7056
      @wizfiz7056  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bars I ordered were chrome but the quality of the chrome was so bad I decided to go a different path and powdercoated them, but you will see in my latest video what happened to the ape hangers. In short, dont buy cheap bars lol
