The light greatsword moveset is so buttery smooth and the way you can combo into heavy or light attacks from the wing stance just feels sooo good
It makes me feel so good when I use it haha
Power stancing them is also fantastic and combos as well.
It is one of the most accurate to real swordsmanship in the game. Wondrous things happen when they actually attempt to replicate European swordsmanship as well as Japanese instead of going with pop culture swordsmanship.
Milady has changed my life. Ive always gone for dex weapons tho been curious about strengh weapons. Running a quality build with this weapon has been amazing.

Vordt´s hammer. I finished the fucking game with it, truly best weapon in the game, having everything you can ever have in one package :D Hyperarmor, huge base damage, huge frost buildup, huge hyperarmor, huge stance damage, good range.. and endure as ash trivialized some bosses completely :D What a weapon

If you do a heavy and light attack while double handing, it’s a combo. (RT & RB: Xbox; R1 & R2; PlayStation)
Just continue hitting these two buttons and just swing away
Yes I know the skill also combos but if you don’t have Wing-Stance, regular attacks still work as a combo too

It’s a great sword, my favorite overall so far. Running it much the same.
FYI if you hold down your L2 while doing the light ash of war attacks, you can immediately roll into the heavy.
I’ve found if I’ve got enough time for the flurry of swings, I’ve typically got time to finish with the big one

This is how I subverted rellana’s twin blade sucking, I just stacked mostly dex and faith for physical and the flame move. Use frost milady with wing stance till frostbite, two hand twin blade in off hand, reset frost with the fire move, go back to powerstancing. Works like a charm

@@pastorgainzgames I think it’s more dps if you just power stance the whole time, cuz if you off hand rellanas I believe you hold the fire blade which does fire damage anyways and would reset frost a lot faster and no need to switch, but that defeats the purpose of using the twin blade anyways. Lol more fun
I believe twin blades need a buff , it's very cool but don't do much damage, I've done but changed to another after 3-4 hours playing with them
@@hjcavalheiro I think it’d be worth the crap scaling if they just made it have frost damage for the main blade since the other is fire it’d be a reset frostbite weapon.
I play mylady with similar stats as you and also on Frost (blood is just boringly too strong), but I play her with Piercing Fang. This light sword category was definitely missing in ER, it's so much fun to play with, for me the best weapon in the DLC and also in the entire game
U kno what I thought about piercing fang but then opted for something Else. I think that The light greatswords are so good

I’m playing a sword and board paladin. It’s hard to feel like a paladin without holy damage and healing magic but I was determined to try out the cold affinity from your guide… My solution was to switch to the Golden Order seal and add the single discus spell and some healing spells. I took advantage of the C-level INT scaling and got Milady to 590 AP at level 151, not too far behind you!

Great video, thanks, arrived 18 hours after I put together a Milady build :) I would say though the 2-second power-up on the Relana's Cameo talisman feels like forever in a boss fight 😆 I also wish you could move faster with it activated because unless you get your positioning spot on you can be short on your attacks.

Use it after a stance broken riposte when the boss is recovering
Adding on the ice stomp ash of war along with the frost buildup easily makes it my favorite weapon of the DLC so far.

What is the armor and seal you’re using ?
ive been dual wielding milady, and then also having the falx equipped as another status option. Pretty nice. The milady r2 is followed by the L1 the same was as its followed by the r1
dude its such a fun weapon. I am going to make a dual milady build soon
I use the lighting buff you get from the dragon to deal more damage and have a little more protection too. Another good one is blood flame blade incantation
I've been pairing this one with the moonlight greatsword & the carian glinstone staff. It wipes out enemies with ease. I hope it keeps up during my 2nd DLC playthrough, though, Lol.
Dude sounds like a fun time. Ng+ dlc so far is manageable for me so u should be ok!
I would add that you could also try having catch flame in your memory slot.
Using fire when an enemy has frost applied on them removes the debuff and does %max hp damage similar to bleed so it’s nice to have that option.
True its a great option but I do enjoy that 20%
If you want to remove the frost for the damage then why don't you just use a bleed build?

Milady with guard counter and wing stance is kind of busted. It does so much stance damage . Beat midra without even dodging. Just gaurd counter.

How do you do this? Noob question I know but I've only been playing two months - I know how to counter in a two-hand stance but I don't see how you then activate wing stance fast enough in the short window you have between attacks.
surprisingly true, the guard counter of Milady is kinda busted, i think it almost always breaks thru enemies poise

This is one of those weapons that are so cool and i want to use it, i'm just bad with it because it lacks the stagger i rely on with strength weapons, i'm going to use it anyway just for the style :P.
And btw maybe i missed seeing it in the video, but just in case you didn't know, if you do the R1 of wing stance but hold the ash of war button you can combo the R2, and according to my testing, rellana's cameo applies to both inputs if you use it this way, try it if you haven't, it's really cool.

I killed Rennala without seeing a single attack in her P2 with Impaling Thrust Milady. Stance broke her to death.
Does it make sense pairing it with a shield? I was considering doing a cold infusion milady with a medium shield but not sure which ash of war would make sense. Maybe the frost stomp, but then I believe Id need int, wouldn't I?
you can for sure and then I believe you get a guard counter with 2 strikes if I am not mistaken
I feel like I struggle to use Rellana’s Cameo against Radahn as I have to wait two seconds to get the buff. Do you have any recommendations or is the Shard of Alexander, both of Millicents Talismans, and the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman good?
yeah thats a good combo. I wouldn't recommend wing stance against him.

Rellana twinblade is a hard stat to balance but will wait for the video on it
It really is a confusing weapon because you either have to spec into physical damage, magic, or flame, you cannot have all of them
I use this weapon but I also duel wield with rellanas twin blades so I can get bleed fire damage when attacking and I can easily switch to the blades to do the fire attack.

Frost is great in all but you need you int so to use the ice arment sorcery so you can look like a Jedi while doing loads of damage. 2nd point I use the wing stance with a blood infinity and blood flame blade so I can be DARTH VADER

I'm using Milady with Keen affinity and Sacred Blade/Electrify armament (80 DEX / 36 FTH). I just love this weapon!

It nearly perfectly compliments the smooth hit boxes of the game

id also recommend using it with the Standard / Pierce instead Cold / Pierce that way you can then use any and all incantations to imbue the sword with whichever element you need
yes but those don't give your enemies a 20% increased damage taken :)
So far I’m doing a similar thing with the cold Milady but my talismans are more to give me more health and the godskin baby thing talisman and more fp cause I’m using it with my mage/faith build. My last talisman I change to fit what I need. However I am prolly gonna have to do something about my build cause I only have 50 vigor :/
Oh I also have rellana’s twin blades so I can inflict fire damage and reproc frost. Also sword of knight and flame for the pesky fire golem things

What talisman is good if you only have the rotten winged sword insignia? I didn’t do Millicents quest on my first play through and I’m on my second and only have rotten winged sword insignia
Two-Handed Sword Talisman
Depends if they want to use Milady 2-Handed, though. OP, I'm in the same boat and went with Dragoncrest GS instead just for the extra protection. I'm also using Wolf Crest shield in off-hand.
if U wanna 2 hand the wep use the Two handed Sword talisman, if you want more survivability use the Dragoncrect Greatshield, Two headed Turtle, amber medallion, something like that
@@pastorgainzgames Two handed sword talisman doesn't add damage to the winged stance aow attacks. Only normal light and heavy attacks.

I’d love to do this hut the only way my game is letting me put frost of my sword is with a frost AOW I can’t put cold on it with wing stance 😭
Im using milady with sacred blade on a dex faith hybrid. Got a mix of well rounded spells and respectable damage with added sacred blade buff

Above average damage depending on your faith level I think the higher the better to make use of the sacred blade buff and projectile hits hard of course

Using heavy milady with Deflect tear and stonebarb tear. Talismans are Curved sword, two handed, rotten winged sword and shard of Alexander. Using the new deflect mechanic to destroy bosses be gaurd counters
Gonna use this vid as a base but I think I’ll probably do more for the magic damage maybe use chilling mist for even more frost (also gonna have a flame infused dagger just so I can reset frostbite)

You can run there. If you can run to the milady, you get run to winged stance

Its a good build for early playthroughs such as ng+0 but it really falls off on ng+7 due to extreme flat defense scalling of enemies (must rely on dmg buffs even with 20x blessing)
yeah I think a lot of weapons are left in the dust at NG 7 tthough
frost doesnt scale? wht about u loose so much damage on every hit because u have AoW that doesnt scale with your stats good enough?

I’m using fire knights greatsword. Mixed with the ash of war from the sword lance (bleed proc) against radhan, beat him first try (with that set up lol). And miquellas great rune equipped

@@Archangels_righthandboi yeah, it’s like Margits shackle but instead of slamming radhan to the ground, it buffs you from the magic and what not radhan does for a time. I think I used it before/after walking through the fog gate, and then when I had a minute after his transition. Since I summoned Thiollier and my spirit ash (mimic)
How is he wearing full solitude armor at 25 endurance meanwhile I have 40 and cannot wear the full set

As far as I could tell, there was not a ton of stance damage
No disrespect to the wing stance but im enjoying this weapon more with a shield just block countering and stance breaking over n over. Its so satisfying
I hear it hits twice which is pretty sweet with block counters
I know when you perform the action you get a counter combo but as for two, im not sure. Maybe i dont understand it fully but its really fun regardless. If you do decide to try it out, im definitely looking forward to learning more about it👍🏾

@@Okina-Kev I use it powerstanced and use the new tear for perfect counter guards. Sad you can’t use it all the time, but 5 minutes is very long. The double attack when guard countering is so nice plus both hits gets increased by the tear.
Would this sword be good with lighting instead of frost?
The frostbite debuff is 20%, but I’m using keen affinity and Electrify Armament and stacking faith instead of STR after I hit 80 DEX and it’s fine.
It scales well with lightning but then u would have to change some of the build :)

I would encourage players to get the prosthesis & pair with the wing sword insignia for a first playthrough
First playthrough makes sense, usually by this time everyone has both but I get u

@@ishaboy5090 i didn't say the rotten wing sword insignia talisman, i said the winged sword insignia talisman. They are two different things. The other is in a cave, with the boss being a rot knight.

Its because you don't have the wetstone that allows it. Carian Wetstone is found in Raya Lucaria :)

After about 3 hours of attempting Consort Radahn, I decided to give this build a try and it helped me finally beat him, not to mention the build being fun to use.

Yes, but Electrify Armament buffs you the same, lasts more time and doesn't debuff your defense. Unfortunately Vykes is not a good spell, although it's beautiful and red

Unfortunately it doesn’t have much stance damage when you use its charged attacks… You’re supposed to use the ash of war all the time..

blood is only .5% stronger than frost against bosses, which is pretty much the only thing it really matters on and frost causes them to take 20% more damage during the time it's up. it's much better than blood if you're even slightly built for it. even a full arcane blood build is barely better in proc 115 (80 arc) vs 105 for frost at +25/+10
yeah thats why I love frost.
I find Rallana's Cameo to be too slow for a lot of bosses :(

It's the solitude set you can get it at the western nameless mausoleum.
Why the Frenzied Flame Seal?
Has 0 weight and it’s just one I had available I’m just using it for buffs
It's also a good choice for DEX users, as it's the only DEX scaling seal

yeah I think u are right. We are not doing much magic damage in this build though. its all physical minus the frost.

I use Quality Milady with bloodflame, wing stance, and buffs. Buffs: Golden vow, flame grant me strength, dragonbolt blessing andnblack flame protection. Then for talismans i have Shard of A, Fire Scorpian Charm, Rellanas Cameo and two headed turtle. Wonderous flask i have flame cracked tear and windy crystal tear. With heavy wing stance move i do about 3400 gove or take

Can I ask why you have 30 STR? Also, why don't you explain the stats, but instead ramble on about pointless stuff? I'm specifically more interested in why you chose your stat allocation.

Anyhow, I may be wrong but I would imagine as the weapon has split damage scaling between Dex/Str, the majority goes to Dex which is nearly at the last cap, so he's put the few extra levels into Str to maximise damage output.
