    I fixed mine by redownloading the software. This option is available in the advanced management screen you were in. After doing this, I was able to adjust the clock. No issues since

    Thank you! Just ran into this issue myself. A few days ago (March 13) was the start of daylight savings here in NJ (USA) and my clock normally resets automatically, but didn’t this year for some reason. Did exactly what you were doing trying to setup in time in navigation system, but that does nothing. Guess I’ll be using this HACK tonight! That’s crazy to deal with …it should be so simple. Com’on Honda! Thanks friend!

      Same problem! Did you fix it? It’s currently 3:48 pm but in my Honda its always an hour behind so in my car it says its 2:48 pm. Very annoying

      @@danielrevollo4835 Yes, it worked! Set it a few days ago and still accurate. My clock resets to 1:00...heard some reset to 4:00. So, just pull the fuse at whatever time your clock resets too but definitely works!

    For the clock, I believe it has to be set through Honda by calling them and it'll be set via remote. First time it happened when my battery terminals came loose and I had to get them to reset it. Then one day(Feb 2022), after changing dead battery, noticed the time was off and had to call them. I was told it's a known issue and it'll be some time before it'll be resolved, eta, around November time.

    The fix is apparently coming in August 2022. It is a known bug in the navigation version of Hondas.

    Im pretty sure i can help with this. My 08 mdx did not change after daylight savings. I cant change it manually. Years ago Acura had sat problems after daylight savings. I was unable . to manually change it in my 2001 cl type s...it took months for Acura to reset the sat before my clock worked again and displayed correct time. Make a complaint to Acura...Enough complaints and they will fix issue. Hope this helps

    Here is a link to same problem discussed in a forum - seems a common issue and easiest way to remedy is reset at 1 am/pm!

    My also went "wrong" over the day light saving weekend. Its been 1hr and 2mins out since then, strangely I disconnected the battery today and it reset to 1 am. But I tried all the advance setting to manually adjust the GPS time, I reckon the code inside the head unit didn't assume the cars would still be getting used when 14+ years old.

  • @alaricfernandes

    Ya ima just unplug the battery and plug it back in at 12:00. I tried everything to set that dumb clock. Drove me crazy

    • @visualight2010
      @visualight2010  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s the hack!!! But it’s 1:00 AM and if you have the Navi version Honda Accord it has a backup battery so unplugging the battery may not work - you have to unplug the BACKUP fuse!! Watch the vid to the end to see where it is!

      @visualight2010  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think either AM or PM is fine - it doesn't seem to display AM or PM or use 24 HR format.

    What button did you press to get the gps send time menu

    • @visualight2010
      @visualight2010  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is this the menu you mean?
      Navigation System Diagnostic Mode
      Start-up procedure and Diagnosis Menu
      1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON (II) position.
      Press and hold Menu, Map/Guide, and Cancel buttons. Keep them pressed for approximately 5 seconds. The display screen then goes directly to the Diagnostic Menu.

    • @robbybandss1353
      @robbybandss1353 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@visualight2010 no, the one after that with the "gps send time menu", where it actually lets you set the time

    • @visualight2010
      @visualight2010  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robbybandss1353 aah ok so the whole point is that even if you get the right menu, it won’t let you enter the correct time - at least as far as I know - hence I ended up having to take the backup fuse out at 12:59am so it resets to 1am at 1am - if you find a better solution please post it here!!

    The clock in my 08 has always been wrong. I don't trust myself to fix it this way as I am clumsy and will probably break something. Honda dealer will have to have a go. Otherwise I'll tape it over and use something else. What a stupid set up in such a nice car.
