I have owned a few Mustangs I had a 73 Mach 1 back in the 70s; a 1999 V6, 2011 GT 412hp; 2015 Ecoboost. I loved the ecoboost and it really surprised me when I drove it. Fast and great gas mileage; yeah no low rubble but still a very sporty car. Don miss out try one and see. The GT is awesome too no doubt. They announced it will come standard with 330 hp so later the may offer a hp package like they do now. If you tune it another 50 hp its a lighter car that has 380 hp!!! No Meme
The lack of a manual transmission option is a selling point for keeping my 2018 6-speed manual ecoboost. You’re absolutely correct - simple mods (more open exhaust, tune) and the 2.3L engine has more horsepower and torque than 3 valve GTs. Mine gets 26-27 mpg mixed city/highway, and 30-32 mpg highway. Best part - it was $15k less than similarly spec’d GT.
i have a 2015 ecoboost with a roush tune , intake and exhaust .. its got plenty of juice , and sounds great .. its not the sound of the V8 , but its still a great car and i'm really happy with it ..
I cancelled my 2024 Mustang because of the trouble that I am having with my current Mustang. Just as well as the 2024 model still has not arrived in Australia@@MontaneroPaisaMontanero
Bruh, port fuel injection plus DI (at almost double the pressure) is a major, major, major upgrade... basically get the NX2 turbo kit and you can run E85 with no fuel system upgrades needed... its massive update
V6 Turbo hybrid please. v8 is overkill for an everyday driver so I'll probably go for the ecoboost once i get some money. I hope it pushes more power but doesn't sacrifce reliability. I mean if toyoda is able to pull 300hp in a 3 cylinder, then ford should be able to add a couple of more horses to haul the average fat American.
I got a 2023 BMW 230i and it is definitely better than the Ecoboost but the Mustang has always been a good platform. People dog on the 4 popper but it is more than adequate for a daily with hooning potential in stock form. Personally I’ve always considered the the M240i, Supra, Camaro SS and 5.0 too much performance for public roads.
@@MontaneroPaisaMontanero I care, I drive a 6 speed eco for a reason, why would I have a 10 speed without paddles that’s madness for the type of driving I try to ascertain
It won’t be long till it gets unlocked so it shouldn’t be a problem. Probably a good idea to ride out the warranty anyways considering they did bump the Hp.
What do you think of this new s650 ecoboost? A great i4 turbo platform or just another meme stang?

Best daily driver out there!

At least it is available for those who can't afford any higher priced Mustang

Love my big turbo ecoboost I hurt a lot of feelings😅 🌽 really wakes it up !!!
Ford should've kept the manual in the EcoBoost, I'll never own 1 for that reason!!!

the new engine is only 5hp more than the previous version!
torque is just as important my guy
I am reading 2024 2.3 Ecoboost at 315hp/350 torque

How's the comfort in the 230i vs the mustang?
Luxury maybe 🤔 speed no
255 crank hp makes like 189 WHP 😂😂😂
It’s basically a RS motor with slight updates , but the lack of a 6 speed is going to see a hurt in the community
Who cares. 0-100 is 4.5 seconds. Its best daily driver out there
Your thinking of the hpp mustang they came out with in 2020 this new engine is no way near similar to the old motor completely different

@@ohh488 is it actually much different I thought there were only slight updates ?
@ it’s a entirely different engine it has rocker arms and all
Why it should be slept on: Ugly, locked ECU. 😃

If you think that ECU is gunna stay locked then you underestimate the tuning community.
The s550 started out locked ecu as well, just give it time
