You can give this car some go with basic bolt-ons bigger injectors and a mild cam and headers and change the rearend to a 12 Bolt posi.

If this car is equipped with a 307 you can build that motor to over 500HP pretty reasonable since most Chevy and Pontiac parts are interchangeable with this car there are plenty of parts for this car.

The Windsor series of engines were 302 cubic inches and a 351cubic inches.You left out the beautiful last mustang cars of the first generations 1971 to 1973 coupes and fastbacks with their sleck body styles.Their were coupes,coupe specials,coupe grande,Boss 351,Mach 1, convertibles,and fastbacks.You left out the 1980's1990's,2000's and newer Saleen mustangs You left out the 2000's and newer Roush mustangs.You also left out the mustangs made by Shelby America,Carrol Shelby's company like the Super snake models,super snake 1000 models with 1000 horsepower.I know it's not a mustang but from 1979 to 1986 Mercury made a clone version of the mustang built on the fox body platform called the mercury capri The capri Rs had the 5.0 liter 302 V8.

I have a 2010, and it started breaking shocks, 3 rear pairs to be honest. I changed whole front snd rear shocks, including springs two days ago... guess what? It made leak a rear one again. Any clue what suspension part i need to check/replace? Somethings not right it has 160k miles...

Good thing with these mustangs is leaving them completely stuck. There are so many people out there with 1200 hp Mustangs that I’m proud to say mine is I have a 2005 GT premium with 53,000 miles on it and enough room between the tire and the fender to stick your fist in it, I run it with old school Crager rims They kind of stick out just a little bit and it looks like the cars I had when I was a kid. I’m not touching it but love it the way it is.

You keep comparing that three valve to a coyote you need to understand something, when I was a young boy my father bought me a 66 Mustang convertible and year after that my mother bought me a 67 fastback both of them was considered quick and they only had 210 hp 289 engine’s yes they were a lot lighter. I get that but they were very satisfactory for fun.

The continued use in a warmer climate is why it lived. No start stop multiple times a day cold hot cold hot etc.

We bought a 2011 Pathfinder 4x4 silver edition in 2014 as well with 36k miles and just hit 180k with almost no issues. Love my Pathfinder

i hated that version. i liked 2nd gen. love 4th. the problem is it's not a true 4wd despite it saying 4wd on the rear. i don't get how they got away with that.

no one ever mentions the steering wheel vibration while the vehicle is stopped or in idle mode. I talked to my dealer about it and they said it was a characteristic of the 3cyl engine. Very annoying.

I have the exact same one and to be honest comparing this model with the new models of pathfinder I definitely prefer the tough look of the 2011 silver edition, I jus equipped it with some all terrain ATX tires and it looks sick, I'm actually considering to up grade it with some camping accessories all around.

Don't discount the 4.6 its an amazing motor. Its easy to work on sounds fantastic. The transmission in the 4.6 manual tr3650 is great. The manual in the 2011+ is pretty crappy mt82. Made in china and known to break under warranty. The 5.0 is a good motor with the automatic transmission. But I will take my supercharged 4.6 over a 5.0. Sounds way better and people don't expect you to be fast. If I had the money I would get a gt500 absolutely fantastic mustang. But for the price they are going for Im not willing to spend that much and then have to modify the suspension and make it the way I want it.

If it were me, I'd spend extra money on suspension upgrades more so than power upgrades. It already has 400hp which is more than enough for me. I'd want to be able to put all that power into a well-handling car.

They can empty the entire tank in minutes! When redline performance tested the Tesla Plad it ran the battery flat in 3 1/4 mile passes!

The S197 will always remain the most Mustang of Mustangs as far as more modern mustangs go. The S550 is a great generation too. I have experienced both though and the S550 just doesn't capture the mustang muscle spirit like the S197. The S197 has that special element that just makes it more special of a car.

I built a great '77 king cobra with a 1988 5.0 drivetrain. The original drivetrain was pretty sad

You made the comment about the rear end being "light".. not the case here with the transaxle in the rear, meaning no transmission behind the motor, hence how they get the 50/50 weight ratio
