To mix a receiver port to be ppm amongst all pwm channels is not common at all,, do you know another Spektrum or Futaba receivers that does this, hence a bit strange..
@@rcguss if not PPM maybe SBus or something proprietary to FlySky ... anyway, the signal wire carries more than just the related switch command to the light module so no surprise the servo is a bit lost.
nothing strange, the led port is not PWM but I guess PPM ... on the signal wire, it carries the signals of at least ch1 and ch2 (if not all channels)

@TuxStang Also that cant be right, as one rc transmitter cannot send both pwm and ppm signals from what I have looked up..

Yep something they have thought about and so they make sure you can only use the std fms radio gear to make it all work.
