I will miss the ambulance. But you have the memories of Madame Roc and Mary's last ride and all the treasures it has held. Please keep it in the intro.
At least you got a good 5 years out of it. And you were able to give Mary one last ride in it. And it will live on in your intro, along with your father and father in law.
As many others, I hate to see the ambulance go. But when you have a buyer that will take good care of it and gives you a fair price, I guess you have to say goodbye. We will miss you, old friend.
If I was a kid and I lived in the neighbourhood this store would 100% be my absolute favourite place to be! Cool unique stuff to look at, vintage video/games, and tasty varieties of candy/pop/summer ice cream. What’s not to love? The big kid in me would have just as much fun!
It’s exactly the kind of place we’d all bore our kids with by telling them how cool a place we had in our neighborhood and how much time we spent there. 😂 And they wouldn’t get it until they were probably 35 when they’re nostalgic about their own places.
@@Lucinda_Jackson When I was a kid there was still a soda fountain at the local drug store. I embarrassed myself by ordering a lime vodka instead of a lime root beer. I think Mom and Dad drank too much....🥺
@@marystrenke6299 I remember being curious about them as a kid when I’d see them in other people’s cars. My dad never had one, but he ran the driver’s ed program at the school where he taught and coached (and later at a different school where he was a principal).
Alex, NOoooooooooooo, I started watching you because of that ambulance. So sad to hear you’ve sold it. It is great advertisement for your business. Man oh man I hope you haven’t made a huge mistake. That car is part of what set you apart, made you different and attracted people to your channel and your store. I’m really sad to hear you sold such a pivotal part of your stores history.
I think the Archibald brand isn't tied to any material thing at all, but to a certain innocent kindness, deft use of long-term planning, and resilience in the face of disappointments.
Sears missed the boat! They had all of their infrastructure in place to sell on line when the internet started. They passed up the opportunity and we know how Amazon jumped at the idea and look where they are! Amazon at that time was only selling books I believe

Enjoyed the car show, Tour of the store exterior and it looks great! Bye to the ambulance, Enjoyed it being around but change is good. Melissa's meal looked delicious!
Hello Dear Friends, This is one of your finer videos. And the commercial at the end, didn’t feel like one. I watched to the very end and enjoyed dinner with you.
I th ink the picnic table would be cool if Hans, Josh and all the other helping hands who have made the new store special were able to 'tag' it with a wood-burning pen. It would have such memories in years to come, looking at the names and/or symbols of the many people who have passed through the store and left their mark on your lives.
Oh the Ambulance was always such a trademark Curiosity Inc vehicle, pretty much the slogan of the TH-cam channel!! I know you have the Volvo for hauling, not sure if the Rolls or the Jag will be doing any hauling, especially during the winter time! (AND PLEASE DON'T SELL THOSE! ok at least keep the Jag :-))) My suggestion is if you can get your hands on one, is a Toyota Sienna Minivan AWD. They hold their value like that FJ Cruiser did and great for hauling all year round! You could even get magnetic Curiosity Incorporated signs for the doors!
So very sad to see the ambulance go. My dream trip is to go see your store and see the ambulance. But I still want to make a road trip to come see your store.
