How incredible to find a 70s truck with only 38K miles, nearly mint condition interior, needing very little sprucing up to get it running!!!! Am I surprised? Not one little bit! Someone with such strong work & family ethics, and positive attitude, plus all the assistance you've given or helped to give others, has good things come back to them time & again. Just goes to show what hard work, living right & having a positive outlook can do. It's enjoyable watching other people's dreams come true before our very eyes!!! I love it!
People seem to gravitate to you, Alex, when they need a little help in their lives. You have touched so many with your sincere kindness and you are rewarded for it. Great truck!
When I watch Alex make things happen in his life with such a happy spirit and boundless energy I am truly in awe. You are an exceptionally good person sir.
Absolutely! Being willing & tenacious enough to put the work in tracking people down really paid off - most people don't think like that and for Alex it's a great asset!
@Sue Mick you stated Alex’s personality exceptionally well. I need to write this statement down and keep it next to my bed for whenever I have those Blah, woe is me, moments. I wish I had a fourth of Alex’s happiness, optimistic viewpoint, and his boundless amounts of energy. I have my days. I’m extremely energetic for almost 53 years of age. I do pretty good with a degenerative disc disease, 2 bulged discs, 2 completely ruptured discs extremely in the lowest section of my spine, and narrowing of the stenosis along with Sciatica that radiates down my hip and down my leg as described by the radiologist from my MRI as being moderate to severe in his reading and notes from his findings.
Wow! What a beauty. And it has a back seat. Love it! We had a CB radio back in the 70s. It was fun talking to the truckers when we went on road trips. Breaker breaker big rig, come back.
She's a beast & you can haul a lot of treasures with her. It's wonderful you were able to help that man out during his time of need. Congratulations Alex!
I LOVE THAT TRUCK ! IT'S MY FAVORITE COLOR TO, U CAN MAKE A OLD PENNY LOOK BRAND NEW . IT LOOKS NEW AN UNTUCHED, IN MY OPINION , ORIGINAL ,KEEP IT OG, I LOV IT. MUCH LOV
Alex, you remind me of my husband, always so positive, full of wonder and curious for everything about life. To find that truck on the background where your beautiful daughter was taking a ride in an antique car was amazing 🤩 You see beauty beyond what’s there…….🚛🛻🚗🚕🚙🚑🚐🚜
What a great find - my Dad was a mechanic & I'm a pastor - having overhauled everything from cars, tractors, bulldozers, and dump trucks has come in handy these past 34 years. I love you channel and I joined when you have around 5,000 subscribers.
Me too! It’s funny that several of us had good memories of our fathers and their cars or trucks, I guess that was the bonding time that is missing from families these days. ( I’m 70 so I’m old fashioned)
I thought the same thing too. He could get around the licensing problem with the city by having a movable truck with all of the pastries and coffee in it. That way it would give him more room on the floor in the new building to put tables and chairs for people to sit in. They would buy their goodies outsideIn the truck and bring them inside to eat. I think you had to go back and look at it, or find another one. Maybe just a small one that could sit out on the cement pad out front. Why not check with the city to see if that would be allowable.
That classic Ford light green brings back memories. The two tone with all the chrome is ultra-sharp. Very fancy chrome window shields. And so well protected and preserved. Well done.
My neighbor has an old green Ford truck similar to yours. He drives it everyday! I hear him start it up every morning. I know you’ll enjoy your new to you truck. It is a great find!
Showed my husband this video when we ate lunch. He relaxed and enjoyed the truck story. He says because you keep yourself out in the world, the people in the world are more likely to interact with you. SO True 👍! Persistence pays . . . Congrats!
Alexander, you are truly touched by God. Imagine finding a pristine truck, the age and style you want, just a week or so after selling the ambulance! I believe God puts people in your path because of your graciousness and giving attitude. Love it!
Alex those older Ford trucks lasted. My Dad always drove Ford pickups. He had a welding business out of the back of his. Great memories. Thanks for sharing.
My dad drove Fords. I guess that is why I'm a 59 yr old woman still driving an 2002, F-250, with 7.3 diesel N it. Love it. And if it & I continue 2 last, I'll B 85 still driving. If it works, don't fix it !

Certainly a truck doesn't replace the ambulance for most of us, its a truck. Anyone can have a truck not a thing "cool" about it.
