I have the PM3 digi camo S45VN & it's my absolute favorite pocket knife. The way I would describe S45VN is it has a bit better edge retention than S30V & similar toughness to S35VN & better corrosion resistance than the other two.
Man, I love how the compression lock and liners match the DLC coated blade finally. I can't wait to get mine. Ordered it from DLT trading almost two weeks ago, but the rat b*stards at the Oak Creek, WI post office have had it held in their facility for over a week without any updates. So frustrating.
Totally agree. Best EDC knife out there and I have to add, a great self-defense knife too. I haven't used any of mine for that but just judging on how it feels in the hand and how sharp the blade is out of the box, I have no doubt about that.
@@lostwithknives i got me a tenacious, sadly in my country, wich is a Taxhell, it costs 70 bucks. Still a wonderful knife and i love it, but i am not allowed to carry it outside, not even concealed, because my counry is a socialist craphole aswell
As a guy with more than 300 hours of sharpening experience I can say that s30v is alot smoother and the retention is atrocious compared to s45vn, I can cut all day long with s45vn but with a s30v I got to refresh the edge like every 30 minutes maximum ...

I'd say start with getting a tenacious which is around $40 and then go from there. It's hands down the best EDC knife you can get (para 2)

ya you're on bathsalts if you think that, I got a Para 3 in S45VN and the edge retention is better than my Benchmade 940 in S30V
S45VN is supposed to have better edge retention than Elmax.
