Please fire the video editor who isn’t able to correctly colour a video in post processing.

Yes, the colour is poor. The review however, is top quality. If you're looking to buy a car, this is the channel to watch...if you have zero cash & just want to watch morons drag racing with slack-jawed yokel accents including knob & fart jokes that would be an embarrassment to pre-teens, then Carwow should be your ultimate destination.

I liked the older Peugeot logo, but this design is overall nicer. I remember when Peugeots were cheap. Good review.

Thanks for the relevant, exhaustive and exact information you put in this vid. I own this car in the Allure trim with some extra packages. In my case it is the one that has a 150 HP petrol engine (plus EV engine), and so far I coulden't be happyier.

Citroen C5X is made on EMP2 V3 platform and is more closely related to Peugeot 408 and Opel Astra Tourer than it is to 508 (EMP2 V2.3)...

@OSV - The navigation system is not ok, it is on one side and more towards the driver. The passenger will be able to see almost nothing.

It is a nice vehicle but the doors are pillarless so you cannot add wind deflectors so you can NOT crack the windows for air circulation in bad weather. also in the the winter months the glass freezes up so many have found that the glass will not drop to allow you to open the doors. stop start issues has been a continued problem on the 508 brand where customers have been forced to purchase new batteries at £200 to £300 pounds a go. Many in the PUG 508 R8 club on face book have encountered this issue. Bonnet bumpers out of line B pillar is open in the floor to the outside to which I don't understand so lots of road noise. Lane assist is dangerous if you fail to indicate it pulls you back into the vehicle you might be overtaking. The author needs to get a better camera as its dated also why have you used photographs of the flag ship PSE which it 55k

These wonder Hybrids & EV's will develop expensive problems.
The buyer then will suddenly find himself alone.
But car reviewers never mention this.

I can't think of a single new car that I actually like. The state of this thing - the grille looks stupid, no definition to separate it from the rest of the bumper. Interior looks tacky and ridiculous, silver plastic stripes under the infotainment screen look like fake buttons. The centre console looks nice and big but I detest these push-button gear selectors - what was wrong with a nice stitched leather gear lever? As usual, too much piano black plastic on the centre console which will inevitably get scratched and covered in finer prints, losing its appeal. And lastly, what the hell is a 1.2 petrol doing in a full size saloon? These shitty little engines are so highly strung and over compressed they will blow up under 100k miles. You need a 2.0 at a minimum to move a car like this. Why not use a hybrid powertrain similar to Toyota/Lexus with a proper 2.5 4 cylinder or 3.5 V6 petrol hybrid? Power is sufficient, engines are stable and the whole system is economical. You need displacement to deliver refinement and stability, that is why top range luxury cars go for V8's and V12's.

1.2 3 cylinder doesn't sound ideal, thanks for nothing net zero

    • @Cubasenet33

The car tested has a four 1.6 cylinder engine (featuring chain distribution and variable camshaft timing). As every other petrol engine in Peugeot, is labeled Puretech, but has nothing in common with the engine of three cylinders and oily distribution belt of same denomination.

Underpowered in this car. Those 1.2 engines are also suspect for reliability

Unreliable? Links to that? I've owned 2 P with the 1.2 and they have been excellent - economical, nippy, quiet, reliable.
