      It's an okay comedy, it's just about a womaniser and his brother who are both contract painters. Hence the title.

      @@jeff3482 So the "strokes" part of the title implies a painter who gets plenty of coitus?

    • @jeff3482
      @jeff3482 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      @@n.miller907 possibly, there's no obvious euphemism in the title, he's a painter and brush strokes is a painting term. He tries to settle down and try long term rels but it doesn't come natural to him, that's what the credits show he loves befriending women. That's about it really, counsellor Horton from vicar of Dibley plays his boss and the guy who used to play Burnside from the bill is in it as a fairly menacing character but you had to grow up in the late 80s to early 90s to have been aware of this sitcom which I did in Australia where we got alot of British tv and still do.

      Seems you don't know much about Aussie history.
      How has Aus 'inherited' ANY European history?
      European history is what happened in Europe or directly involved Europe - eg the spread of the Roman Empire.
      Aussie history is what happened in Aus or directly involved Aus - eg the trading between indigenous Aussies and Malays LOOONNNG before ANY European arrived; the fact that Cook did NOT discover Aus. (He new exactly where he was going AND had a map. The French and Dutch had been here long before Cook.)
      How 'old' does one's own history need to be before it's worthy of teaching / learning.
      FYI - the history of Aus is at least 40,000 years old.
      I'm not sure why you've taken my facetiously ironic comment so seriously.
