You can add to your power distance by looping your bands over nylon pulleys and making a sliding mount underneath the long stock , this way you can load it with a little more ease under less tension, then pull the hand grip mount for the other ends of the bands TOWARDS you, wrapping around the pulleys at the end of your rifle, and hook them on pre-set pins, thus dialing up for power, the farther you pull it back to anchor it, the more tension and power you have and the ball will continue to accelerate the whole length of the rifle, not just 14 inches. THis will also increase accuracy. This will require slightly longer bands as you are nearly doubling the length they are stretching.
The best way to enjoy this in Asia is ripping cans and things that are due for the trash can. This is already perfect, as others said, it's the bands that carries the slingshot / rifle. The good thing about this is when you need to replace it, you can always reuse the slingshot trigger and scope.
The rifle stock looks great. The camera work and editing were also really good. I wonder if a heavier pouch might not be in order or another 1/4” on the bands? I saw some pouches a while back that had a tab sticking out of the back to make release easier. Something like that only with a paracord loop instead might make cocking the gun easier. And maybe safer. This video was fun for me to watch and I look forward to more. Thank you.
Awesome man thanks for the ideas and feedback, I just put a different pouch on that has a lot more grip and it’s a lot easier to load. I’ll look into the tab pouches. Thanks
This is awesome! I'm a slingshot hunter over here in the UK and with some heavy 1mm or 1.2mm bands and some 11mm steel / 10mm leads you could have a deadly hunting set up which will probably be stronger than our legal limit air rifles (only 12 ft/lb).
Well done. Amazing video. I always wanted to build one of these and always wondered how accurate they really are. I could never find a video that really focused on the accuracy until now.
Nicely made rifle, well done young man. I made a slingshot rifle were you slide the forks back to load and the cock the bands, much safer. Rather than use bands i use thick tubes used on wrist band slingshots, Barnett type, they last longer and are more powerful.
I made one of these for shooting marbles. It could easily kill someone. I didn't know that they could be that powerful when i started. I had 4 bands per side on mine.
great job editing, are you using apple movie maker? Its like a pro video even though you don't have many subscribers yet. I think it the release system was better or if you could use rocks it would be awesome, find ammo all over the ground.
Hello, my friend, I am writing to you from Saudi Arabia, and I admire the video clips in which plastic bead guns are made. How many clips that talk about these innovations, but I did not find any of them talking about the lengths of the guns and the appropriate lengths of plastic rubber. Would you be so kind as to be the first to talk about the lengths? I hope so.
Thanks man, I won’t be making more anytime soon, it’s a lot of work just to sell it. I am going to make a beginners slingshot rifle video you can make at home soon that you can follow along if you want 🤷♂️
Greetings from Australia, would you kindly have a link to that scope you fitted, i don't see the plate that you screwed to the stock before fitting the scope, they seem to fit straight to a gun barrel, many thanks in advance.

Hello, please tell me which circular knives are good for cutting rods on a slingshot, and the Chinese ruler for slingshots, which you cut in the beginning of the video on a slingshot gun.
Hello, new subscriber. I'm from Colombia. It seems to me a very good idea, but I have a problem that I don't know what the trigger mechanism is called. Could you help me with that?
Hey man, Amazing build! I was wondering ... how long do you think the overall rifle should be so that it still has a decent amount of power to it? I've been making one (inspired by you! Yours looked so cool I just had to make one!) from some scrap wood, and at the moment it is around 1.3m long (from the back of the stock to the end of the rifle) ... and it just looks too big and is pretty heavy. I was thinking I could cut it down to 1m but I am just worried that it is going to be not a long enough draw because there still needs to be space for the scope and the trigger. So I guess I was just wondering what your thoughts are? Thanks 😁
I would say at least keep the barrel part as long as your draw length. That’s what I did with mine but I wish I made it about 2 or 3 inches longer. If you do cut it, I wouldn’t go any shorter than your draw length. Good luck 👍
@@hudsonhertz I've finally finished my rifle! I just attached a red dot to it and have been shooting it a heap and I've found that I've gotten it pretty close. All my shots are within 8cm of the target, however when I finally hit the spinner, the next few shots seem to fly either high and left, or low and right ... its funny because it seems to only be missing in a straight diagonal line, but however much I try and adjust the red dot to account for this, it never seems to fix it. The only thing I can think of is that potentially I am being a little inconsistent with how I load the rifle... but I'm being as precise as I can. Did you experience anything like this when you were sighting yours in? 🤔😆
@@naafiabdulnaafi7476 8mm losses speed and momentum pretty quickly so it would guess it would have to be a relatively close shot for a clean kill but it’s possible. If I was strictly going for body shots I would choose a bigger ammo and a heavier band.
I wanted to use 8mm for this slingshot rifle but its shooting 9.5mm better. I will be sure to sight in with 9.5mm and keep the setup the same. Thanks for the comment!
Very nicely made. PRETTY... FOR SURE! You are REALLY too young to lose an eye for the rest of your life... just cuz you did not wear safety goggles. Just saying.

I just made .7 25-20mm for it, a lot more power.
