Tbh I was one of the few people that read this series before warriors. And I’ll admit the first book wasn’t anything special but it didn’t feel too much like a ripoff of The Lion King, but I’m always willing to give something a second chance if it feels worthwhile. Bravelands eventually proved itself as I found the series surprisingly really good. Tbh the first book wasn’t anything special but the second book was a massive step up in comparison and the series managed to become something of worth eventually. And I really wish more people gave it a chance. Tbh props to this series having more balls than warriors when it comes to killing off its characters and the brutality. Ps: Fearless x Keen was arguably the best and most healthiest relationship in the series. Sadly I’m not joking about that.
just finished watching the video and i never really comment on videos but i beyond happy seeing this series talked about!! i really wanna make so much content about Bravelands but i can never keep my motivation but so far i made some drawings i didn’t post but i also have a MAP part for it! Whenever I’d seen people ranting about how this series is a Lion King ripoff i would get so upset about it bc they were only focusing on the similarities rather than the differences and there are more ways Bravelands strays away from the Lion King story than it is alike with it but yeah i love this video and i am very ecstatic about Bravelands getting some more attention :D!!
I really like Bravelands, even more than WoF or Warriors. I thought the second half of the first arc was a drop in quality, but then the second arc really picked it up and the third one is phenomenal. Can't wait to see how it's going to end, with the last book being released in three weeks. I'd love to hear your thoughts, too!
Ive been thinking about reading Bravelands at some point, but I couldn't find any information on it so I kindof forgot about it. I'll definitely check it out now!
I read all the books in bravelands thanks to my libary, and I did like all of them. I like most of the characters, and I did enjoy the second and 3rd arc so far, I think you should review them
Erin came out with another new book (which no one has been talking about) called bamboo kingdom! I read it and its pretty good! I don't know if there's a second one out yet, but if there is i definitely will read it :D (i also recommend it x)
Hey, if you like Hunter and Sutherland, you might actually like Tui’s smaller book, The Menagerie. It’s a group of three books where this kid named Logan finds a griffin cub in his house and learns that mythical animals actually exist. He and his classmate, Zoe, the caretaker of the Menagerie, a place holding the mythical creatures, learn that someone is sabotaging the place. Together, they search for the saboteur, and find a danger hidden nearby. It’s a really good book series.
Interesting timing, since I just started checking out Seekers after not having touched it since it was first coming out. The other Erin Hunter series are so mysterious and have a sort of allure if only because no one has really bothered to read them. (FWIW I am enjoying Seekers quite a bit, 1 and a half books in)
I finished the first arc and haven't gotten to finish the 2nd one, but it is a GREAT SERIES OMGOSH. I read it before warriors, and I'm ngl, I like it a little more than warriors :p
@@FurryBlossoms I vaguely remember checking out various books in the first arc when it was coming out as well as the graphic novels from my local library and finding it a little better than Warriors. I think my childhood-self was on the money there, it feels more "focused" and the worldbuilding feels a lot more tightly-constructed overall. I just like those bears 🐻 I don't remember why I stopped reading as a kid, I might have just never been able to find all of the books at the library after a certain point
7 years ago...... YOU'RE KIDDING. it can't be that long ago I remember waiting for bravelands to come in at the libary

I didn't know Fearless was gay, I just though keen and Fearless were close friends

I try to get into Bravelands and wings of fire but then i look at my warriors collection and go "Mm one day I'll try them."
*Fearless is gay but Simba isnt*
Such powerful words.

Do think you At some point in the future you could do a video on the rumors that amazon is gonna make a wings of fire tv show
Its no warriors but I actually quite enjoyed it when I was younger. The only reason I still read warriors is the nostalgia.

READ IT!
I've read it twice and it's so good, also read ALL 3 ARCS. EEE.

I never knew this book series existed ever and now I’m sad because of this- 😢 gonna put this series on my Christmas and birthday lists now.
A brave move, thank you for your sacrifice 🫡

Didn't The Lion King semi-copy Kimba the White Lion movie?
Not really. I recommend watching the YMS analysis of Kimba as a franchise
I had no idea that this was even a book
The Erins don't advertise it much
I wish the gays were canon
They are canon! In arc 2, they are listed as famous lovers alongside Berry and Thorn and Sky and Rock.
@@5rcane wait what seriously! W for us gays ig.
@@5rcanealso I really like your art
hoi
I like these books, but how they handle their gay characters feels pretty bad…
I saw on your bio your Jewish. Me to.
