Love the calmness of your attitude when you're in a tight spot, it really makes me realise how there is no point in stressing when out on the road ! Oh thought I'd say, with the tomtom you can pin drop a destination on your map.. I find it so much easier to look up the address on Google maps, find out where the exact entrance is and then put the pin drop on my sat nav..

Hi Jenko, great video as always. An observation when you got into Birmingham, I really hate when bus drivers stick their right signal on when they clearly aren’t ready to pull away and aren’t even looking in the mirror!
For the last few years of my career I was doing pallet net work deliveries in an artic, and I used to hate it when, particularly in builders merchants, I’d have a couple of pallets for them, I’d queued up for 1/2 an hour to an hour to tip and the 2 or 3 of their own vehicles would turn up. They had to be loaded (understandably) but invariably would have a break as well all on the loading bay. So that could be another hour wasted, and it wasn’t as if I didn’t have other work to do. The only good thing about it was as regular drops you got to know what times were good or bad to go. I don’t miss that side of the business at all. Keep safe out there mate!

Martin, enjoying the blog as always, just a general reminder that loads of HGV's don't use any indicators at roundabouts, yes cars are bad, as are some HGV drivers, life would be much better if all drivers used their indicators, I can hear your indicator working. 😂

With regards to the Tomtom getting you near and google taking you to the gate. I always copy the coordinates from google and the use the tomtom app to pin the gate exactly and send to head unit. Aviods having to start google nav in 99% of the time.

@briancorbett3209 depends if the stop is on snap and the company do snap then you just give them your reg number of put it in the machine. If not you pay and get it back from the company if they pay for parking. Yes you get meal vouchers if you want them 👍
I don't understand " WHY " road planners make it so hard for truckers. You have no choice but' to wait outside if there's a queue waiting to tip or load, but' I've noticed that nearly always there are double yellow lines everywhere! Obviously too stop cars from parking there etc! But' they still do, which makes it harder for you.

@ yeah I very rarely swear since I had to give up work with my MS on 17th May 2013. Use to swear more or less all the time in the bus 🚍 depot. But I very rarely swear if at all Martyn Pal. 👍
