Awesome video, dude! And thanks for the kind words. Terrageddon can be a tough and very close matchup depending on the draws. The MTGO shuffler was very unkind to you quite a few times during this league; this could have definitely been a 5-1 or 6-0 with fewer mulligans but sometimes that's how it goes. You're right that it's deceptively hard to play re: sequencing and thinking ahead, but you played it well. Well done! After playing with this list a bit, I think I might go -1 STP +1 Exploration in the main since Exploration adds even more explosiveness to the deck. There's still a week left before Lobstercon so we'll see where I end up with it before then!
In a couple of spots I did find myself in situations where I thought "I'd really want to see an Exploration here", but idk how much that comes up as opposed to needing StP or something else... If somebody can figure that out it's you though!
1:02:12 one of those small sequencing decisions is that if you cast Exploration here instead of Wild Growth you enable the possibility of drawing a land and having 4 mana on turn 2 rather than locking yourself in on 3 mana. With 4 mana you potentially have the ability to play the Presence and then the Wild Growth to immediately draw a card. Such a sweet deck and a pleasure to lose to it.
Ive been really into this deck lately too. I really like the blue green version too. Im wondering if that build is better vight now vs replenish and terravore as it's more combotastic but im not really sure
Haven't played the combo version, but it does look pretty good to me. It kind of feels like a worse version of Replenish, in a way, while this deck feels like a different animal all together. UG looks insanely fun!
@@fpawluszmtg yeah I just want to win with words of wind. I remember when those first came out and could never figure out how to get it to work well so I’m a big fan of ug enchantress
Geez Enchantress is what made me walk away from Premodern for a while. It was a pretty different list and it was at the height of StifleNaught, I like that this is lower to the ground. If you're drawing that many cards I can see Mirri's Guile being better than Sylvan Library.
Chris explained it in his guide, and Guile does seem like it does a lot of work in the deck. I am surprised to hear you walked out of Premodern because of this deck, since it's such a minuscule percentage of the metagame.
@@fpawluszmtg I read the whole article indeed and watched your videos, that gave me some inspiration and used the list with minor tweaks to the Alicante Finals, which finally won. Thanks for your great content!
I don't care about those cards... Elephant Grass and Confinement are in my deck, and they have much more synergy with my strategy (draw cards from Enchantress) and the 2nd one even protects me from Corrupt. If I were to play the match again I'd do the same thing.
Wow, I love Enchantress! Such a scary deck. Thank you for the insightful and fun content.
Glad you enjoyed it! Best of luck!
Insightful and fun Content 🤔
Would you even say, it is enchanting? 😁

Thank you! Chris' guide is spectacular!
Lol I still feel so bad about the wasteland on your fetch! Was totally on auto pilot
Haha, it's totally fine, I was screwed anyway :P

Yeah, for sure, but then I wouldn't have the Exploration in hand to cast after I have already played the Presence. It's close for sure!

@@fpawluszmtg I was the one piloting it not that well, this list is a lot smoother overall haha
@@maxzakh Hahahaha that's fair
Being true that Guile allows you to keep average hands, I find interesting that you guys completely cut out Sylvan libraries and Words of whatever...
Chris explains it in the guide, so you can find it on more detail there, but I think it had to do with Sylvan not helping you cast Enchantress on t2.
