Great workout. I'm 72 years old and I normally spin 2-3 times a week and take a fitness class 2x/week (like RIPPED but without the jumping for "active older adults" at the Y) and walk 3-4 miles 3-4 times a week here on Maui, but I rolled my foot while hiking in France about 2 weeks ago...continued to hike on it for 5 more days and came home to diagnosis of 5th metatarsal foot fracture. In a boot now and didn't know how I would maintain fitness for 4-5 weeks. Thanks SO MUCH for this!
Omg, thank you so much for this video. I feel so good after weeks of being sedentary. This was very much needed and also very much appreciated. I love that you have added weights to some exercises and that the exercises are very evenly rounded for full body. Amazing!
Thank you so much for this video. I was rushing out of my apartment complex with my 5 year old son. I was trying to watch him and go down the stairs with the stroller in my hand at the same time, skipped the step and ended up falling right on top of my ankle, stroller and all. It caused a very severe sprain. Now at least for the past 3 years I'm used to working out everyday, I normally do hit workouts combined with strength. So being limited to just walking once my ankle started feeling better just wasn't enough for me, and then I find your video! Perfect fit for me in fact I'm going to do this workout until I'm healed completely! Good work on this video! 👍🏽
Thank you, loved this! I broke my a bone in my foot playing pickleball and it's been over 4 weeks and not healing properly, off to the orthopaedic surgeon in a week and a half. I typically workout daily and the injury has been a real mental game. So glad I found this workout - I'll be doing this class again!!
I dropped a weighted meat cleaver on my foot 😢 so this work out is solid gold. It’s been a year + of healing and the scar tissues get inflamed and multiply. I miss work outs so so much!
Much appreciation for this video!!! I was hiking in Ireland on 5/30/24 (on the 5th day of a 15 day trip) and lost my footing. I normally wear ankle height hiking boots but due to previous situation during the trip, they were still wet. I went in trail shoes and it ended on a painful note. I fractured my fibula and also have a severe high ankle sprain and had to continue hiking to get back to the car for another 1.5 miles (that was ROUGH). Went to the hospital in Galway the next day and was given a boot. I have been exercising (3 strength days a week with 2 cardio/pilates in between for 4 years) for a while so this injury threw me a curve ball to normal activities. I was able to continue with the trip (albeit with some pain) - and got home and rested for a couple of days. I set about finding some workouts and was thrilleld to happen upon this one. Thank you very much!
Thanks for this workout. I broke my foot right before my honeymoon and had to postpone my honeymoon and could not bear weight for three weeks. Now I'm still in a boot and slowly transitioning back to regular shoes/walking. I got a great burn from this workout and will continue to use it as I recover! It's definitely made an impact on my mood.
Whew! I just had foot reconstruction surgery a little over a month ago! I've been sitting and resting and eating for weeks, and now that the major pain has decreased, I knew it was time to get moving! Although this was an intense workout, it was necessary to start building my strength and stamina back up. Even with my cast, I was about to do 90% of the moves with no problems!
Started my dream retirement vacation and fell down a stair in the first few minutes of my vacation and broke my foot! My foot is in a boot so it was a great work out but I couldn't switch from one exercise to the other that quickly. But I loved it! THank you
I just had a 4 part foot surgery on Monday and really want to keep working out. Thank you for posting this. I am going to try it today! I am non weight bearing for 6 weeks 😢
Hey!! Amazing workout which was much needed as I have collapsed arches; flat foot which has really deformed. Can you tell me how much weights are you lifting ?
I sprained my little toe and was so sad when I realised I couldn't do my regular workout because lunges were bloody painful! This was a lifesaver! Thank you so much!! ❤
I feel for ya! You’re gunna have one strong upper body once your Achilles has healed! (Referring to all the upper body workouts I presume you’ll be doing!!!)
Love this! I have a blood clot in my one leg, so I have been having trouble figuring out workouts.
Nice work! I hope it gave you some ideas for other exercises you can do on your own!
