  • Verbesserte Version meines PCB Laser printer. Jetzt mit 2 Laserdioden.
    Deutliche Steigerung der Geschwindigkeit....
    aber noch nicht zu 100% fertig.....
    ups... ein Fehler im Video, der "DAC LT1446" ist natürlich ein LTC 1446 !!!

    For those whos wondering... to get that extreme accuracy, it's not just the laser that does the printing, the heavy base is almost 1.5 inches thick, there's a reason why this talented person use's such base, the heavy base provides more accuracy for the laser while it moves, same goes for the heavy beams and columns. This is no way an easy task of your typical "DIY" laser PCB engraver a lot of legitimate mechanical engineering has been gone through to make such machine same goes for making the laser and electronic hardware. Jeez... this level of fine detail and accuracy is straight up porn, gives me an instant boner.

    My conclusions:
    Two lasers to be able to create two lines (double speed)
    Laser GH04P21A2G (405nm 100mW)
    Only information visual of the design (no information for open development)
    The best design I've ever seen ...

    What are the specifications of these two laser diodes and also why did you choose to upgrade to 2 instead of the 1 you had before? In addition; isn't there a possibility that the beam can have time to reflect off of the copper sublayer before the resist film has time to expose and turn opaque? My concern is that having something like this in an unenclosed area could, over time, possibly damage the eyes. Right?

      It's copper clad board that's pre-coated with UV photoresist (you can buy it this way fairly cheaply) then a UV laser that doesn't need to be very powerful and then you can develop them the normal way with acid.

    Hi There Hobby Electronic,
    Amazing project! Looking to do something similar myself, as I am a student and constantly designing and re-designing boards for my projects at university. Any chance you can share the schematics for the print head and the firmware for it? If you wish this to be kept private then please feel free to email it to me via my google account. It would be most appreciated and I can send money if you are not sharing it, but selling as a product instead. Thanks again for sharing your amazing work!

    I like this ! Looks like your lasers wipe the top layer! What diodes do you use in v.2 ? Is the lens still "Aixiz" ? What photofilm was on the board ? I have worked with positive-20.
    I think to build similar machine, so i started research for parts and found at ebay.com, ebay.co.uk many cheap laser dot modules,lens that look like yours, uv laser diodes. But I'm affraid that I can't tell apart the laser diodes and the sellers may cheat with the specs, diode models. My idea to distinguish the LD type is by close inspection & comparisson of A/V graphic with the characteristics, given by the producer.
    Datasheets of Nichia are avail. online.

    • @hobbyelektronik3359
      @hobbyelektronik3359  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The diodes and the mirror are from XBOX laserunit with the "Aixiz" lens.( I find this on web: PHR803t similar or Sharp GH04P21A2GE !? datasheet is available ). The Boards are original Bungard, Positive 20 I have not tried yet.

    • @Angel24112411
      @Angel24112411 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      I ask about lens, because on laserpointerforums.com and ebay, they market new, different 405-G-2 Glass Lens (for ridiculous price), which they claim deliver 30% more power than the standard Aixiz glass lens.
      But my concern is about the spot diameter. Btw, on ebay there are chinese lens which look pretty mych like the 'aixiz' ones.

      today i make a test,but im think if the Co2 lasers not work with metal material,is a caracteristics of waveleight,you use a blu/violet color and im think is near 405/415 nm ...

    • @straumentroll
      @straumentroll 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ***** the CO2 laser cannot expose the resist as it is sensitive UV light only, a CO2 laser emits IR at around 10900nm. If you have made it work I guess it is because you have burned away the resist, not exposed it. I would think the resolution would be far less than what can be obtained with the 405nm laser too.
