- On this episode we feature Speedfactory Racing and their ridiculously fast record setting Honda Civics. They brought the well known back half FWD king testing a prototype 6-speed sequential trans, this car is currently the fastest FWD car in the world producing over 2000HP at the engine through a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine. The second car in their arsenal was Ostrem Racing's 1996 civic sedan AWD conversion which set the new AWD B-series record. Import vs Domestic World Cup Finals 2019 was absolutely insane, this is definitely our favorite race of the year showcasing over 400 racers from all over the world.

I don't know what type of Accord you had but I highly doubt it was a Honda....if it was, my goodness it must have been ill and ready to keel over.

These billet blocks are allowing people to make INSANE amounts of boost and hp that was inconceivable with those small engine sizes not all that long ago. Imagine where we will be another 10-20 years from now. Crazy
Right? Got GTRs running over 3000hp, Lambos and Vipers running over 3500hp, Civics at 2000hp. What an absolutely amazing time we live in. I remember when making 1000hp put you at the top of everything.
iPROFITDON don't forget about the billet gen 2 hemi's that are making 11,000 hp.... on a 50+ year old engine platform. What a time to be alive
They were doing this without the billitt block ... it just made it more reliable

This makes me proud being the owner of a 1995 Honda Civic Ej1 Si 🙂. I am 1/3rd away from finishing the car. $9k invested, $4k to go. CSS block, full built head, boosted, rywire, Skunk2, 1320 top mount, LSD, B18 LS vtec.....it goes on and on....🥰

I don't really see how you could praise any manufacturer apart from the fact the body started life as a Honda nothing else in the car was made by them, now these guys have done an amazing job but that has nothing to do with Honda
So glad you guys interviewed James. Answered so many questions I've had about that car. I hope they don't give up on their quest for 6's and FWD, but I get it if they do. So amazing at what they've been able to accomplish over the years!

it's not 2 litres when it has 85 PSI forced into it. cramming more air and fuel into the cylinder by means of forced induction increases the motors displacement. basic physics, basic engine knowledge.
@@TheDrakenZ craming more air and fuel into the cylinder will increase its volumetric efficiency but will not increase its displacement. That is determined by the bore size and stroke...basic physics, engine knowledge!!

@@Marcoo_S14 Adjusted it immeadialy after I got it..thats when I found out. Couldn't even fit my thinnest feeler gauge in there. I think the valve seat is hammering into the head. It's a 97 CRV

Bore it out. Destroke it with a new crank and rods. high rpm cam which I'm assuming you already have. Port the head get titanium valves. Sleeve the thing

Hondas are the most competitive cars , but they are a plague, running 11s or 10 seconds is no surprise that's why I don't like them. And most of the owners thinks that Hondas are the fastest 4 cilinder.
Its depends who do the engine build , there's a few engine at the same level, [ ecotec, 4g63, sr20, ] fastest rwd is not a honda just saying.

B series is still my favorite platform in the honda world. CSS K20's are cool, but for me, a good ol' LS/vtec with rods, pistons, and an ebay GT35 is the way to go!
I love all series but I love the H series people hate it so much but if it's tuned properly it's a k killer

@@connoisseuroftigolbitts We have posted a dyno sheet in an upwards of 1700hp but spinning because the car could not hook all the power on the dyno. With an 86mm turbo and nitrous, we are easily around or over the 2000hp mark :)
And people say "FWD can't be race cars".....
