I have some wonderful memories of Skipsea, the chippy and the arcade in your video. My grandparents had a place on the cliff top, about 200 metres to the left of the small arcade (no6 over your right shoulder)

We had some wonderful times there when our children were little, amazing to see how much of the coastline has been eroded by the sea, thanks for watching 👍

Thank you for a very interesting walk! We went to Hornsea about 13 years ago and remember some of the views , but others have changed.
It seemed so quiet the day you went... What I do remember (but you didn’t show it ) was the mere , at the back of the town.
I recall that and then from there some nice little shops....Hornsea Pottery shop, we went in , but I believe the pottery is now gone.
We never went to Skipsea....but there is a sadness there in your video of times gone ( I don’t mean just the cliffs ) but , as I say, of times gone...
I enjoyed your video immensely....I was only sorry you and Karen missed out on your fish’n’chips...keep well!😊

Ahhh yes the mere, we did drive past it, we used to take our children there, when at the site in Skipsea, it had a playground so they loved it there, thank you for watching 👍

We had a static in 90s on a pitch at the side of the old boat ramp that was at the side of the house that collapsed.

I bet a lot more of the coastline at Skipsea has been eroded since then, couldn't believe how much has gone since we stayed there in the late 80's when in-laws had a static caravan there, Hornsea was nice as well, thanks for watching 👍

We used to have a seasonal pitch at skipsea
There was more road when we were there
Looks like the chippy is on borrowed time now

It's heartbreaking how much is being lost 💔 we stay at Seaside Caravan Park at Ulrome just up from Skipsea and every time we go more has been lost 😢

The coast has Always changed there's villages mentioned in the doomsday book that are 10 miles out to sea now in Norfolk i doubt that global warming was a thing even though it was a thing the ice age didn't stop on a dime it's a long process that is still happening not that most people can get their collective heads around earth time as opposed to human time if we went back around 15.000 year's and told the people who lived on the dogger bank they will be many meters under water in a short time they would react the same as folk do now when they are told of natural change mother earth don't care much about our version of time and most people find it impossible to comprehend that. Thanks Be well

@Andrew & Karen's Adventures it won't be stopped but they are very capable and stupid enough to change things so badly that human are in an even worse boat. Thanks for the reply be well
