Hi Trevor and Pat. Thanks very much to you and Stacey for going out of your way to video a bit of Stanningley for me, really very kind of you. The cottages for the millworkers look very nice. My ancestors worked in the cotton mills and also were coal miners. Hard workers, not always the best working conditions. My cousin shared some election posters with me for when my great grandpa was running for the Labour Party. Unfortunately his political career was cut short when he died from cancer.
The campsite at Skipsea Sands looks very nice. Hopefully you will be blessed with sunny, warm weather now that you are on the road again 🌞🌞🌞🌞

No bother Judy, Stanningly looks a lot different from my childhood, but what doesn't, Peasholme Park in Scarborough and The Grove pub in Leeds being the exception.
This site is much smaller than the one in Cleethorpes, but so far no complaints. It's been a lovely day today.

These park resorts out of season are great Steve, as long as you avoid the weekend and the summer, their fine, and great value for the money.

I googled Park Dean resorts and went to their tourer section and looked at their locations. The main thing to watch about these sites is that some of their hard standings are marooned in a field so that you have to drive over grass to get to them, so I use Google maps to see how their tourer locations are laid out and only book where the hard standing is next to the tarmac.
With this site there is a narrow strip of grass between the tarmac and hard standing which has got totally sodden by rain and people have obviously got stuck, but I found a pitch which was OK and got on it OK.

I am totally baffled too. There was four pitches totally unusable, yet people will be coming this weekend.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun you were going to pick the motorhome up I think and Tracey was driving the car, and you were filming the area for somebody that had asked. Unless my stupid phone has commented on the wrong video.
