The first men in a woman’s life will shape her future perception of men. Our black women really need their fathers and strong male figures to guide and help them.

Bro plenty of fathers in these girls lives even the women who call Kevin podcast say they have zero interest in getting their father's advice. They move independently of their parents not seeking their approval. As a black American Muslim I have 2 daughters they can't find their own husband. I will find them a husband if they found someone I will determine if he is a good option. Since my daughters are 17 and 18 years old I have been observing who are the productive black men in the local mosque. There is a young brother 20 years old he goes to North Carolina AT &T STEM HBCU he wants to be a engineer. The father is a ADOS man the young man's mother is Moroccan. He speaks Arabic fluently he has memorized the entire quran, very good looking young man. He has good morals. The father came to me he said he thinks my oldest daughter would be a good match for him. It will be a arranged marriage. It is men job to put their daughters in the best possible position. Women choosing their own husbands has been disastrous for women. If a woman isn't consulting with men before settling down with a man that's a derelict in her duty. Men only can vet men.

Your post was very fantastic, sir. 💯 North Carolina A&T is a good school with an excellent reputation in producing black male engineers. It’s amazing that arranged marriage still works today, and women are usually happier with that. I hope the best for you and your family. 👍

Modern women are definitely lacking in relationship skills. All it takes is listening to the countless female callers from past podcasts. There are many similarities: lack of father or male guidance, lack of consistent relationships, (mostly either very short-term or very long-term with nothing show for the invested time other than out of wedlock children), and no understanding of what men want, which in turn leads to a lack of femininity, submission, or basic knowledge of the social graces.
While I commend the 39 year old for acknowledging her situation, it's still tragic that a woman at that age can be so blasé about the turn her life has taken because of her head being in the clouds. Before settling into a relationship where she can be fully appreciated and taken seriously enough to be considered by a decent man, the Peter Pan train of thought needs to die asap.

Building Relationship skills usually starts young in middle and high school. The modern men and women lack relationship skills because they were not socialized to have one on one relationships especially generation Z and the younger Millennial. Many are virgins, don't have their drivers license at 17 and don't date one on one. They do have a hookup culture that's heavier than exclusive dating to build the skills for a longer term relationship.
Black Culture - raise their sons to sew their wild oats from 18-30 and raise their daughter to be independent and look for marriage. Who's going to propose to her? Young BM are NOT proposing. Raise your sons to look for marriage earlier. Son's date for marriage and the young daughters like in other cultures

I liked the point made about the hair salon and the way women build each other up. I can’t help but notice that that skill of building others up used to be seen as an essential tool for a wife. It used to be that women weren’t utterly afraid of marrying a lower or middle class man, because if they saw potential in him they knew they (as wives) could keep them focused and confident through the tough times. So when their husband comes home from work, dejected at the way his shitty boss demeaned him, the wife was there to give him a back massage and reassure him that soon enough he’d be the boss and to keep his head held high the next morning when he clocked in.
Nowadays, women are actively advised against doing, because (somehow) that’s demeaning to the woman. It’s a double standard. They understand that their female friends at the hair salon need encouragement and reassurance. But what about their men? Why don’t their men deserve to be pumped up and believed in when they hit a low point? I don’t feel sorry for women who sit at the end of the race, waiting to grab one of the guys with a medal around his neck. You didn’t help that man win and you don’t deserve him.

Because drinking “just one glass” and smoking everyday “it’s just weed” is becoming socially acceptable, so how do we address this in a way that people can begin to see that it’s actually not normal and creating a codepency on substances for deeper issues. I mentor a lot of college aged women and men, but I do not drink or smoke at all and have maybe had 5 drinks in my lifetime, but would like to help young people understand that the patterns you start in undergrad can bleed into your adulthood in regards to drinking and smoking.

Starting from 52:36 the girl who rang in from London immediately came in & the first thing she did was try to be deceitful & misleading.
When asked how old she was when she had her last relationship. She showed a refusal to answer the question by repeatedly saying it was college/University age. Once her age was attained for some crazy reason, she then tried to imply that in the UK you cannot go to college/University after the age of 21 which is a complete fabrication.
Why is that you can't just have a straight forward conversation with some women, without the refusal on their part to answer basic questions?
A good few minutes were wasted here on just by her being needlessly uncooperative.
Here is just a small part of the wider issue.

Too many times women think that they have a blueprint on what "correct" is and if the man doesn't fit that blueprint then it's his fault. Their blueprint is "perfect " to them so therefore it must be percent to him as well. Basically she's the lead in the relationship by defaulting to her self made blueprint. Thus only 1/4 BW are married in which only 1/4 of those make it past 8 years. So basically a BWs blueprint gives them a 6.25 percent chance of being married past 8 years.

Kevin makes valid points without even thinking about it that goes over the heads of the Millenials and Gen Z demographic on here: in the beginning, at 24:54 he said "...giving you the best that I got..." which is him quoting an Anita Baker song by the same name. The majority of R&B music of the 70s/80s were geared toward meeting/dating/marriage in that order. Not so much as we entered the 90s into the 2000s. And this is something many and I noticed when we were in the music business as the iPod shuffle was introduced. When I had my label deal freshly inked with UMG I was hard pressed to find artists and even writers who were open to bringing that all back. I was sad I was told signing Leela James would be a bad move...and they were right. Those songs and style were just about over. To me it was more about that way of life for relationships.
