My wife has a 2021 of these. Been much better than expected. Perfectly reliable and V6 does fine fully loaded with people and luggage, but Hemi would be more fun. Put a trailer hitch and a roof rack on it so can carry a lot going on long road trips
I have been buying Chrysler, and jeeps for over 30 years never been stranded and honestly I have never been disappointed. My jeeps keep going thru deep snow when my neighbors ford and gm products were stuck!
It is a nice set up...but the common theme across all vehicles is bring back the V8s, the NA powertrains...it will be interesting to see if the consumers will get what they want...
Just took my family down south. Lugguge and kids. Going up and down the hills in Tennessee, Alabama the v6 performed above my expectations. Drive was excellent and averaged 25 mile per gallon.
Not surprisingly at all. Nothing big minor changes yet on 2025, either not redesigned and upgraded yet, 2025 are just same design since 2021 currently, maybe 2026-27’ might have next generation or minor upgrades and designs
Sometimes talks too fast to understand. Example, list to this vid and tell me what the mileage is for this engine. Otherwise, good vid. What engines are offered other than this low-end base engine. What is the next one up?
To be honest , the that Pentastar is a good engine. My wife has a 2019 Summit and I have never been in a situation where it felt like it lacked power. Handling and stability at speed are a different matter however.
The previous generation Grand Cherokee was a much better car. Two-speed transfer case on the limited 4x4, aluminum lower control arms on the suspension, much better finished cargo area, better interior build quality (no squeaky trim on the steering wheel). In exchange, you get flashier looks and a bigger touch screen. An inferior car at a much higher price. Such a disappointment.
They're not going to bring back the Hemi in this just like V8s are going away and most v6s because of FEDERAL EMISSION REQUIREMENTS. say it with me Lol. I'm not sure why this is so hard to understand. Anyone into cars should know why everything is transitioning to turbo 4 cylinder, hybrids and electrics.
Actually the HEMI is still in the 2500 and 3500 series RAM pickups. GM still has its V8's in the Tahoe/Yukon, same with the Suburban/Yukon XL and, Ford Expedition is keeping the Ecoboost V6. There are those at Stellantis that are keeping things on the back burner until Carlos goes bye, bye in 25. Having a narrow minded Euro trash puppet of Macron in charge caused a lot of problems for the CDJR brands since he despised them and what the represent. On that note, the bump in the road will pass and have a feeling the HEMI will return someday.
lolololololololol. IRONIC Jeep cannot figure out WHY THEY'RE GOING UNDER. Go look at a REAL 4WD, the Toyota Land Cruiser. Jeep STILL REFUSES TO INCREASE THE HORSEPOWER AND THE LAUGHBALY BAD 260 LB FT TORQUE. It's a JEEP for god's sake. It's suppos3ed to have power and be focused on going outdoors, off road camping, hiking, etc. etc. etc. CHEAP INTERIORS ,EXTREMELY MINOR IMPROVEMENTS, AND RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED PRICE GOUGING keeps the JEEP BRAND FROM success.
Stillborn stelantis had momentum until the engine swap change forced on them by epa shoulda kept mistibushi in the loop they made excellent 2.5 liter 4cyl engines for dodged bobbed & weaved into no sales territory today

It's a carry over model. It's absolutely no different then the 21-24 Grand Cherokee L's

They keep the cheap piano black console that looks nice for 30 seconds then gets scratched just by looking at it.
Yeah, I'm disappointed with that too. Less incentive to buy this new model year.
is there any difference compared to the same trim from 2024?
Bring back the Hemi...yes

Did they even change anything other than raising the price?
They deleted the two speed transfer case from the 4x4 version.

Whats actually new for the 25?
pretty good suv, ngl, it's decent for offroad
Are you sure this is a 2025? There is nothing on jeeps site and nothing on the forums.

Don’t think this is 2025 model. Notice he doesn’t say it during his review
@@krisbo12The window sticker is 2025.
I have a 2021 and really like mine 20 inch wheels are nice.

If they bring back the hemi be ready to pay more. Don’t ask for a cheaper price and want a hemi in the save category.
Will there be a grand Cherokee L hybrid in 2026 ?

Jeep built a awesome suv looks good jeep put a cool seats
2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L WL Limited 4X4 Black Appearance Package!
Still putting that tired uninspiring Pentastar V6 in the JGCs. Yawn.
Hurricanes should be an option, if not standard.
Hurricane in MY '26.

No way you’re hauling around 3 rows of people with that anemic V6. Damn Shame
That V6 does just fine for a 3 row. Currently own one and have had the GC loaded up with no issues at all
Hahahahaha how many recalll 🎉😂😂😂
terrible engine, very sluggish, no material changes
That light interior, not gonna stay clean. Just wearing jeans will stain those seats over time.
Nah, my GC is this color, no problems.

@TheRasta4ri, it’s Mitsubishi! In Japanese it means “Three Stars”, the emblem of the company. 😊 You’re welcome!
