In spring 2014 I was visiting Slovenia and hanging out one day with a Slovenian friend who lived near Kranj. That night, I mistakenly took the wrong train at Kranj toward Jesenice instead of the last train back to Ljubljana. Both trains had arrived at Kranj about a minute apart, which I didn't expect, and I got on the wrong one! Stupid me. I soon realized I was going the wrong way. Luckily I had my Slovenian friend's phone number saved in an email. The train conductor kindly let me use his phone, and luckily my friend answered. I got off in Podnart, found a pub to sit at for a while, and my friend picked me up with his car within about an hour. We drove back into Kranj, got a beer, laughed about it, and I think I got on the last bus back to Ljubljana for the night. Quite the adventure. Thanks for the videos! I thought Slovenia was gorgeous.
@glensandberg4863 what a story. Now you could see the whole route to Jesenice 😊. When travelling lots of things like that happens. And luckily at the end all is ok, you got to drink another beer with your friend....

Slovenia is as beautiful at the beginning of winter as the young lady ( Veronica O ) - from Ljubljana - that I met in Cambridge, England in 1971, she was nurse and was doing additional training in the UK - Of late I have been wondering - / Why do I spend so much time in the cab of Slovenian trains - now I think I have (2 answers) - However I must admin that this Slovenian lady was a wee bit warmer than the current temperature in this part of Slovenia

Žalostno mi je da proga do Nakla ni videla vlaka že dolga leta, še bolj žalaostno pa je da so progo do Tržiča podrli, upam da jo kdaj spet nazaj dobimo.
Teta Cilka res je. Včasih je bilo kar nekaj železniških povezav v Sloveniji, ki jih danes ni več. Tudi jaz upam na oživitev nekaterih. Lep dan vam želim.

@pifko6 oproščam se za to. Trudim se po svojih najboljših močeh, da bi posnel kvalitetnejši zvok, uporabljam zunanji mikrofon in kasneje združim video posnetek iz kamere in zvočni posnetek iz zunanjega mikrofona ter jih v programu sinhroniziram. Še vedno iščem način, kako to narediti še bolj precizno.

Zvok ni sinhroniziran z videjem. Zvok zaostaja približno 5 sekund ali več.

Trudim se po svojih najboljših močeh, da bi posnel kvalitetnejši zvok, uporabljam zunanji mikrofon in kasneje združim video posnetek iz kamere in zvočni posnetek iz zunanjega mikrofona ter jih v programu sinhroniziram. Še vedno iščem način, kako to narediti še bolj precizno.
Še vedno ni višjih hitrosti na prenovljeni progi :(
