- In this video, you can enjoy the cab ride train driver's view on the Freight train between Ljubljana and Jesenice in 4K/60 frames per second.
The line from Ljubljana to Jesenice is 64.5 km long. It is a single-track line, electrified with 3 kV DC. Only the short section between the Ljubljana Šiška marshaling yards and the Ljubljana railway station is double-track.
This railway line was opened on 14 December 1870. It followed the Sava valley from Ljubljana to Assling (now Jesenice) and Kronau (Kranjska Gora), then reach Tarvisio through Fusine in Valromana.
In 1906, the station of Jesenice became a junction when two segments of the New Alpine Railways met there: the Bohinj Railway to Trieste and the Karawanks Railway to Villach.

Hi, I’m not sure if you are accepting suggestions, but I,’d like to suggest the line Milan to Zurich via the gotthard pass. You already did Milan to Chiasso, but the rest of the line is amazing as well. Mountain panoramas and the world’s longest rail tunnel. I’d really like to see it, it’s amazing in the morning light and there’s also lots of different freight traffic

1:03:43 - zakaj se je vlak ustavil pri premikalnem mejniku, če je uvozni signal A501 dovoljeval vožnjo naprej (ali je bila postavljena le premikalna pot, in se mora vlak v tem primeru premika ustaviti pred premikalnim mejnikom)?
