Storytime | 5 Weeks in the NICU | Preemie | LGBT Family

Today, Laura and I sit down to reminisce about the time we spent in the NICU with our daughter. Ani was born at 31 weeks, and she needed to stay in the NICU for 5 weeks. It was a stressful, scary time for us as parents, but we were surrounded by a great medical team. Our nurses were especially great with Ani, and they were very compassionate with us.

My baby was in the NICU as well but for 1 week the hardest thing in life I cried everyday and I was there every day too 😥 so glad shes doing well 🙏🏾 shes beautiful! 🥰

I can’t imagine how you felt leaving without your sweet baby 😔 I’m such a panicky parent as well! I actually busted one of our windows when we lived the our trailer because I was trying to install it myself! The bow hat was soooo adroable! 😍 baby hiccups are so cute 🥰 you guys are so strong for going through all of that! Much respect for the both of you ♥️
