- Watch this time-lapse + audio commentary video with Víctor Paredes, explaining the process of the hand-painted looking animation based on Wiebke Rauers illustration (IG: wiebkerauers). It took him 2.5 hours to complete this animated walk cycle but in this shorter video, you'll learn from Víctor the key elements and step by step stages to achieve this inky look. ok i really didnt expect u to actually care about making the animation look like it was drawn frame by frame instead of just putting a boiling effect in the lineart and calling it a day.
and the artstyle is so good, its one of my favorite parts about this.
An excellent rigger, animator, illustrator, teacher, narrator, ... And on top of that, thanks to you, I'm starting to fall in love with vector graphics, instead of my all-time favorite, the bitmap image! Great video, Víctor

Vectors are often seen to be synthetic tools but this video in particular does a lot to illustrate the value and flexibility in using vectors for animation. Love the original image and love the translation from that still image to a living creature with so much personality. This video speaks volumes to two things - 1 the skills of the animator (Victor!) and the softwares approachability, flexibility and depth of capabilities when you apply some thought to what you want to achieve. 10 out of 10.
PLEASE DONT DO a whole video and show like 2 seconds of the final walk. We sat here this long, let us admire the results.

Imo, I understand that you wanna see the final result because I am not going to lie I loved that wolf design, but as well I am hyper thankful to learn something entirely new and SO impactful to me that i am going to put this in practice, I thank the creator and would love a lot to see more of this 🎉

Incredible, thanks for sharing! PLEASE consider creating more Moho content that focuses on the animation process, in realtime. Many of the Moho tutorials I see tend to focus on rigging over animation. Diving into the keyframes and seeing your animation workflow would be amazing!

This might be the first animation software i ever buy. Im normally a stickler for this kind of animation as it normally looks like some cheap puppet animation, like you would see in old flash games or cartoons. This looks great though, ive never animated before, but this looks like a good gate way drug into animation

Thank you for the video, the tips, appreciate it. I stopped using Moho for several reasons but this video made me come back and try it again. Time is my number one issue, but the way you animated with personal shortcuts and resulted in faster animation with same visual result made me think differently.
Víctor has always been masterful in what he does! I still struggle with a workflow in Moho pro 13. Wish your tutorials would go slower and more specific to the rigging. I watched a lot of Moho tutorials and still getting going still doesn’t click like how you just rolling with it.
I didn’t know about this software! Just seeing his process I want to play with it too 😂❤

I'm going to need more details about that shadow trick because I haven't caught how it's really done
There are two bones for the shadow, one under each foot. Those bones are controlled by the target bones of the feet, but in a 100% for X and 0% for Y. So they follow the feet horizontally, but not vertically. That makes the shadow move, but always stay on the ground
