Hey Doom, you want a true challenge for ds1? Can you beat Ds1 as a Black Knight? Here are my rules for you if you accept, you are only allowed to use Black knight weapons and armor from once they are obtainable onward. You can use your starting weapon and shield in order to obtain your first weapon, but no armor other than black knight. You can use any of the four black knight weapons you want, you can use all if you want to. Frankly by the end I'd imagine this run to be pretty easy cause of how good black knight weapons are, but I wanna see what you do at the beginning in order to get them when you literally have no protection but your starting shield. Have Fun!
idk why you didn't just use the Dragon Communion spells, not only are they literally the Power of the Dragons just like the Thu'ums but like the Dovahkiin you can kill Dragons to learn them plus with how many there are a lot of them can be matched up to a Thu'um. Also currently on a Dovahkiin playthrough, but a bit different from here, I'm using just a standard Longsword with a fire damage AOW I don't remember which AOW but I know its Fire, then also using all But the Rot Breath since I can't find a Shout its close to, maybe the Drain Vitality shout but the Functions of those Spells aren't the same, ones literally causing them to Rot while the other Drains their Life Force through Godly Dragon magic.

But if you ever decide to do a Themed Build instead of a gimmick one I'd recommend redoing this one as it's easily one of the more powerful builds I've done, with the worst of it being getting the Faith and Arcane for the spells since I stupidly started with the Vagabond.
Radagon parrying air is just the most awesome thing in this entire game. I hope we get to fight this guy in his prime in the DLC and complaing about it for years to come
i'll just visit all of them across the lands between until I have sold them, unfortunately in doing so I will find more dragons and the cycle will continue.. lol
The Dovakhin theme song still gives me chills after so many years. That ending edit was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, and I might "borrow" the concept for when I edit something that aligns with a certain song.

I continue the rest of the dialog, but when I loaded up the game, all I could hear was the sounds of the cart and horse rolling down the hill. Its a feature, not a bug lol
I would've allowed dragon incantations to stick with the theme, but more respect to you for going vocal cords out and sticking with those roars, you really are The Last Dragonborn.
I'll be honest I was kinda hoping to see you actually use the axe as a weapon as well lol. Feels like the only time I ever see it is purely for roars, usually in the offhand. Don't think I've ever seen someone use it as just an actual a weapon before. Also fun fact: the highland axe and roar medallion also boost the altered charged R2s that the war cry, barbaric roar, and braggart's roar ashes of war give you.
I could have, I mean no one plays skyrim only shouting...they play as a stealth archer lol, I had never even picked it up before doing this run, I'm sure it's a ...handy little axe haha
I think you can get Alexander's Shard right after beating Radahn. He's nearby, lamenting himself and munching pieces of other warriors. Awesome video, man. Gonna keep watching the others!
iirc you don't get Alexander's shard unless you finish his quest line, but you can get the weaker version, warrior jar shard by killing him at any point.
Greyoll's Roar does have quite a bit of knockback power. I was surprised that you weren't using it during your dragon communion run, and expected it to be the main attack of this run, seeing the title.
I used it a bit in my rip and tear run, this challenge was specifically to roar attacks (more specifically beasts roar, but I had to use trolls roar a bit to get it), then I jsut built the theme around that haha
Honestly I am loving your videos! I'd love to see a Castlevania build. Dagger and whip, or double whips. I think that could definitely be an interesting video.

Nice video! I’m a little annoyed Beast Roar has Dex scaling, and Troll’s has Str. They’d make for a cool themed build, but you’d have to level both stats to get the most out of them. It’s especially weird, since I assumed Gurranq’s rewards were Str/Fth themed.
I'll admit, I was (am? lol) not sure how infusions and ashes of war are effected by scaling and level. i just know bigger weapon level == more damage haha
@demonintellect9834 No not really, had beast's roar on two of the same kind of build, Roar Medallion, Blue dancer, ritual sword, and green dog with one build having 80 strength and the other 80 dexterity. This was done on a +25 Star fist made heavy and then keen, this is used on Malenia as I was helping people at the time, before I brainstormed on how I could truly min max the roar. On the strength build, I hit for around 400-450 or so, no buff save for talisman's. On the dex build, I hit well into the 1000's, just under 1100 in fact. I think it gains the same scaling as your weapon if and only if your chosen affinity aligns to what a specific AoW brings to the table, in this case it's keen.

suggestion for a future video: what if you did a challenge run as a wannabe godskin guy? or maybe a run where the entire run is basically to be completely optimized for the godskin duo fight (just so you can have one challenge run where the duo is easier than usual)
I like the idea of spending the whole game just making the godskin duo fight easy, getting there, and then crushing them, then like "...what now" lol, thanks for the suggestion!

Good sh*t. This is really entertaining, was expecting you to have more shouts but its fine. I already missed my skyrim but can't play it, there something in my modlist that crashes my game. But I'll choose elden ring first it just hook me so much, Elden ring is just so good.

Armor changes and strategy changes: Great horned helm or Redmane helm to emulate the Dovakhiin's iconic helmet. Could've used Fire Breath, Cold Breath, and Roar incantations. Vagabond knight armor (altered) and then the rest is champion set.

Also can i just say how nice it is to see someone (eventually) use the highlander axe for once? It seems almost everyone forgets about it. One thing though: did i miss it or did you forget to get the roar medallion from the stonedigger troll?

I'd say Ancestor armor would work for some of it. Now, what about doing a Doom Slayer build? Uses Crossbows of different types (Hand Ballista for BFG/Rail Gun Pulley for Machine Gun/Plasma Gun, Crepus Crossbow for Sniper, , the Gravity Well spell (for Shotgun Chain), Have to finish enemies with Fists/Cestus or Golden Order Greatsword or maybe Blasphemous Blade (for Crucible Sword).
I checked the wiki for Ancestor's set and don't see anything, does it go by a different name? I did a fist (weapons) only run for a doom slayer build! it was fun, i'd like to go back and incorporate other things though haha
I was half expecting you to use the Dragon Communion incantations as well, specifically all the breath ones. I know Fus Ro Da is the most iconic dragon shout, but the Dovahkiin can breathe fire too! edit: literally a few minutes after sending this, I saw that you already did a Dragon Communion challenge run lol
Nice build however I would suggest getting the highland axe, roar medallion, and kill Alexander early...then switching up the fashion a bit, and add a long or composit bow, then grab the dragon communion seal and add the frost, fire, and magic breath for more dragon shouts and you know actually use your axe and other equipment lol just me but it would feel more like a dovahkiin build that way to me instead for just "fus-ro-da" only 🤔

I did get the highland axe and roar medallion, and technically killed alexander early (but earlier for all three would have been better, like I said in the video, big dumb and didn't research before the run lmao) I didn't use the dragon spells because I already did a dragon communion only run, so didn't want overlap. the run was just shout at enemies challenge ;) lol but yes, adding a bow or maybe different armor, only for fashion, would have been a nice touch
Here's a challenge idea: Beat Elden ring as a ghoul from Tokyo ghoul (I don't play Elden ring so apologies if it's stupid). Attacks you can use: -Scarlet aeonia -Aspects of the crucible: Tail -Aspects of the crucible: Horns -Dragonclaw There might be more weapons/spells you could use, but since i know very little about this game, anything that appears as tentacles, tails or blades originating from your back or shoulders counts

Also, while you could technically say that the Dragon spells count for the theme, i decided to only have Dragonclaw available since you already did the Dragon spells only challenge, and it would feel a bit unoriginal. Because of this, Dragonclaw is only allowed either before you get the other spells, or if none of the others work against the boss.
I like the hero set but all imma say is the draconic tree sentinel is literally the dragon bone armor like quite literally made from dragon bone so that could be cool too
Given his lore-wise powers, if the Dovahkiin really ended on the Lands Between, only an Outer God would be able to maybe stop him. Malenia, Radahn, Radagon... no one would be a challenge for the Dragonborn. He could destroy all of Leyndell and make all the Lands Between shake with a mere Fus Ro Dah, and even control the minds of entire armies or kill them all on the blink of an eye.
The Last Dragonborn:' WTF DID YOU DO LORD SHEOGORATH!' (upon arriving in the Land's Between) The Daedric Prince of Madness would turn the Elden Beast into a GIANT wedge of cheese, for s%#@'s and giggles!) OH! If Gideon Offnir encountered Hermaeus Mora, what would transpire afterwards would be PRICELESSS! 🤣

U use blackflamr blade to temporarily add damage over time to your beast roar, and u could have used dragonfire,rot breath,flame of the Redmane

Change it to a Strenght weapon and put heavy infusion. On a Largent club it hits aver 1.5k
@@paladindaril AoW do more damage if you use their natural affinity for scaling. A Keen Beast Roar will outperform a Heavy.

I'd say Ancestor armor would work for some of it.
Now, what about doing a Doom Slayer build? Uses Crossbows of different types (Hand Ballista for BFG/Rail Gun Pulley for Machine Gun/Plasma Gun, Crepus Crossbow for Sniper, , the Gravity Well spell (for Shotgun Chain), Have to finish enemies with Fists/Cestus or Golden Order Greatsword or maybe Blasphemous Blade (for Crucible Sword).
I checked the wiki for Ancestor's set and don't see anything, does it go by a different name?
I did a fist (weapons) only run for a doom slayer build! it was fun, i'd like to go back and incorporate other things though haha

I was half expecting you to use the Dragon Communion incantations as well, specifically all the breath ones. I know Fus Ro Da is the most iconic dragon shout, but the Dovahkiin can breathe fire too!

Beast's Roar scales with Dex and weapon enhancement. I've done this build with Highland axe, Roar talisman and offhand sacrificial axe for fp regen
I had heard somewhere it scales with dex and that's why I used the uchi at first, my rudimentary understanding of how it works at its finest! Lol
Nice build however I would suggest getting the highland axe, roar medallion, and kill Alexander early...then switching up the fashion a bit, and add a long or composit bow, then grab the dragon communion seal and add the frost, fire, and magic breath for more dragon shouts and you know actually use your axe and other equipment lol just me but it would feel more like a dovahkiin build that way to me instead for just "fus-ro-da" only 🤔

I didn't use the dragon spells because I already did a dragon communion only run, so didn't want overlap. the run was just shout at enemies challenge ;) lol
but yes, adding a bow or maybe different armor, only for fashion, would have been a nice touch

Here's a challenge idea: Beat Elden ring as a ghoul from Tokyo ghoul (I don't play Elden ring so apologies if it's stupid).
Attacks you can use:
-Scarlet aeonia
-Aspects of the crucible: Tail
-Aspects of the crucible: Horns
-Dragonclaw
There might be more weapons/spells you could use, but since i know very little about this game, anything that appears as tentacles, tails or blades originating from your back or shoulders counts

Also, while you could technically say that the Dragon spells count for the theme, i decided to only have Dragonclaw available since you already did the Dragon spells only challenge, and it would feel a bit unoriginal. Because of this, Dragonclaw is only allowed either before you get the other spells, or if none of the others work against the boss.

Given his lore-wise powers, if the Dovahkiin really ended on the Lands Between, only an Outer God would be able to maybe stop him. Malenia, Radahn, Radagon... no one would be a challenge for the Dragonborn. He could destroy all of Leyndell and make all the Lands Between shake with a mere Fus Ro Dah, and even control the minds of entire armies or kill them all on the blink of an eye.
