A really cool Elden Ring challenge run i came up with, i though it was going to be a much bigger disaster but it turned into one of the most fun challenges!

The fact that some of the most annoying bosses in the game have the highest holy resistance are why I will probably never put together a golden order build. It’s a shame too because they’re some of my favorite spells aesthetically.
True, they really dont work in the late game
If you don’t mind hybrid, you could equip a flame or sacred weapon as they scale with faith. Cold and Magic scale with intelligence too.
Ik this is old but its rlly not that bad i made one its pretty fun. The discus spells are pretty good even against 40% holy negation. Anything above that i just use the SoNaF

THEY HAD 80%!? Now I know why my 1st play through felt so weak. I was a holy knight build and I really thought it because I was just bad and had to get good which one did but the final boss felt impossible but my friend said his weakest element is fire and it worked but I didn't know I was basically putting 2x the work. Of course I'm mainly talking the bosses that have this resistance mobs were easy.
I rocked a fth/str build first time so Radagon just destroyed me over and over...
@@tototriceps i ran the same build and pushes through to beating elden beast with like half holy damage
its a good thing faith also gets fire and lightning to play with, and even physical if you're into throwing pebble shards and boulders lol.

The reason why Radagon doesn’t parry the discus of light is because it was a gift to him from his son, Miquella. Gotta love this game for its small details.

My goldmask run was probably one of my favourites, even though the spells are so far away from eachother. The pvp with it was surprisingly good too
Yeah, it’s under rated in pvp, lol the triple spells are difficult to dodge since they cover so much area for a long time
For anyone who happens to see this and happens to be interested, "gaol" is an archaic form of the word "jail." It went out of fashion during the late 19th century in Britain, but it can still be found in some old legal documents. "Gaol" and "jail" are pronounced the same.

Honestly the single discus is really good given how early you could potentially find it, the fact it's attached to such a good seal, and how cheap it is to find. Sure it could be better given most people might not even find goldmask their first run (I sure didnt), but it could really be worse for a bought spell. Greater Will knows there's a ton of those

I have had a ton of fun blending golden order incantations with death spells using the prince of death staff.
Using ring of light, triple rings of light, some buffs and some versitile damage with death rancor, explosive ghostflame and nightmaidens mist and rycards rancor is a really fun versitile way to play. I do wish that for the order seal and the prince of death staff they should be able to cast both sorcieries and incantations because fiddling around with them is sometimes annoying but it is a really enjoyable build

I really tried to do a Jesus Run but those high holy resistances on some bosses and certain enemies made it absolutely maddening.

btw theres a somber 8 and 9 in caelid btw for future runs. somber 8 over by the caelid divine tower and somber 9 by the bridge with the dragon on it near the beastial sanctum

I honestly love all of these incantations, especially for pvp, they're really only great at late game, so im excited for this run
For PvP they are really something, its just hard to find use for them against bosses
@@tototriceps I have to disagree for PvE, at least against bosses that some have insane Holy defense, on my hybrid caster build I found them to be pretty good, with smart positioning Discus of Light and Triple Rings of Light can be used to his secondary targets on the way back, Radagon's Rings of Light has impressive range when charged and hits pretty hard, sure it's not the fastest casting spell, but good spacing can allow you to take full advantage of the spell.
So fun thing I tried. The tree sentinel shield will deflect your disk when it comes back as that holy bolt thing.

Try Immolation (the spell that sets you on fire) with the Tree Sentinel Shield, you can endlessly reflect as long as the spell is active.

My guy, I wouldn't just Dis Krillin like that, man. Guy fights with beings that can directly challenge gods of destruction and ruin, and not only that, he actually helps out. Plus, he's a gigachad who's beloved by his community, and has the absolute greatest Wife in the Series.

Elden Ring looks so fun.. Now making these silly challanges.. It looks even MORE fun! Suffering and Pain is the element of Souls Like.. Which i love :)

WHY did I never think of this? I always use some convoluted route where I go around to the right side and take the wind up with Torrent next to the cave/mausoleum.

After I found the Albinauric farming spot, I always use the Sacred Sword weapon skill because it makes clearing the area a breeze and with the golden scarab, I get around 100-110 thousand runes each run.

One thing I wish these challenge runs will do, instead of immediately heading to the platue, do the necklace quest. It becomes locked to you.

It’s surprising how easy this game gets once you learn the mechanics well enough to optimize a build. Technically you can one shot every boss meaning the game has a built in easy mode if your willing to do some setup
I did a run that centered around these spells and the sacred order sword it was fun
With weapons too its okay, pure spells where hell tho at the end

I use the discuss of light spell a lot a little tip if you take sword of milos in your other hand you can use the ash of war to debuff everyone and then you get your fp back on every kill making you even more mana efficiënt

This spell is my bread and butter I'm at 65 int and faith you'll never run out of fp ever. Wish the three disks was more with using it should be a more forward moving projectile.

@@tototriceps This is weird, as this has trivialized areas like Farum Azula for me. Against undead this gets +900% damage in a huge area, big enough to hit all enemies for 2-3k damage
