I love this National Park! Proposed to my now-wife on the beach after hiking from Prairie Creek, and before going into Fern Canyon! We'll never forget it!
The video is a great reminder to the beauty of the Redwoods. For those who haven’t yet had the chance to visit, the actual experience is 1,000 times more incredible than anything you can imagine. A visit touches your soul for life.
Fern Canyon and Gold Bluffs is one of our most memorable camping trips before kids. We are finally returning back, this time, with our three small children. I can’t wait to see their little faces as they take in all of the beauty!
Thanks for continuing to showcase those wonder trails with your superb videography and narratives. Standing in an ancient forrest surrounded by giant trees thousands of years old is a mystical feeling
The redwoods are just so awesome!!!! Love the cribs addition of Redwood lol!!! It looks like your in a fairy tale! Green is my favorite color so Fern Canyon looks breathtaking! What a beautiful part of the country and of California!
I love so much that you guys are here doing another amazing vlog! Redwoods is my happy place. The Miner's Ridge and James Irvine Loop trail is one of the best trails I've ever hiked. It's absolutely unforgettable with grove after grove of monstrous redwoods. The permit requirement must be new because I didn't need one when I was there last June. Next time I'm there I want to try the Yurok Loop trail. Looks spectacular!
This reminded me how much I LOVED this national park! We had so much fun when we went there last spring. Fern canyon is just gorgeous! Basically like a fairy tale. Beautiful!!
A nice surprise to get a Thursday morning video featuring beautiful Redwoods NP and the associated SP's. I've only been there once but I absolutely loved it. Anyone who hasn't been there should put it on their "to do" list if visiting the west coast. It looks like Kona enjoyed it as well.
Incredible adventure!! Love the Redwoods, Ferns hikes and wow that beach! Great dancing at the end too! Fabulous video guys! ~Cara Ps. Kona was loving the beach!! 😊
The trees!! ❤ But also that beaches. So pretty. And, as always, wonderful to see Kona so happy. Good job rolling with the weather. We always enjoy your positivity. ❤ ⭐️
Another fun video. When I rarely get to see a large tree(in California) I always love to hug them. Their height is incredible. Fern canyon lived up to it's name, just beautiful. Thanks for the tag along 🥰🐕🇺🇸
Wow oh Wow!!! The trees!!!! Ok so this vlog was as awesome as I thought it was going to be! I've always wanted to visit the Redwoods and this just wets the appetite. THIS was totally awesome!!! Thanks for sharing and allowing me to live vicariously through you. 😉 Also hi Susan!
This video was sooooo gorgeous and fun to watch! Those trees are HUUUUUUGE! The elk looked like statues and were so cool. I loved seeing Kona enjoying herself…love my grand pup! Your Mediterranean chicken dinner looked so yummy…great presentation too! Keep those dance moves coming!
If you haven't before, next time in California be sure to see Calaveras Big Trees State Park on Hwy 4 full of big Sequoias. Totally worth the visit. The Redwoods are truly awe inspiring. Visited a roadside area there where they were playing the music set to the poem "Trees" by Joyce Kilmer and that blew my 13 year old socks off. I'm 80 now and I still remember that like it was yesterday. Really enjoy all your videos, safe travels, have fun.
I planned a trip to fern canyon with my family but didn’t know about the permits! Luckily I saw your video and was able to secure the last an available permits to get our family in. Thank you for providing good information about the areas you visit.
WOW! We couldn't have found you at a better time. We are planning an adventure from Oregon to the Redwoods and this video was AMAZING!!!!!!! It had all the information we needed, so thank you for that. I love the amount of editing you put into this and enjoyed the bloopers at the end, because that is me all the time when I record and I now feel almost normal. 😀
Our number one goal is to provide value so that makes us feel really great to know we helped! Thank you for saying that about the editing and bloopers! We have a lot of fun with the bloopers! Thanks for being here and watching!
That is such a cool, mystical area of California. I love it! We drone along the Smith River from Jedediah Smith Redwoods up into Oregon and it was just so wild and beautiful. Your visit looked amazing. I love that moodiness of the coast. I live in Florida where it's sunny all the time but I love the special vibes of a cool, misty overcast day.
I made my way through there last April and did most of the trails yall did and a few others. Coming from south texas I must say the redwoods and that whole area is just magical. It's like you are transferred to a storybook. Every 5 mins you see something that just wows you. Can't wait to see oregon in the next video my favorite state
So i just started my travel bucket list after just watching a few of your videos, meanwhile ive been watching vanlife videos for years now. keep up the amazing content and thank. you for all the information you have provided your viewers!!
such a soothing vid! I love Northern Cali so much...I need to explore more up there with the kiddos. That campground you stayed at looked so nice! Was it very busy b/c it looked like you had it to yourselves. So excited to see the Oregon content as I feel that is a state I'm going to get to very soon.
Northern Cali is filled with amazing spots! The campground was gorgeous and it was mostly full, but the sites are really spread out well (at least on the outside loop). We’re excited to share our OR vlogs soon!
Such a wonderful look at that area. I was really impressed at the size of the ferns... HUGE!! I'm used to small ones. Thanks for all the scenery. Until next time... Travel safe.
We’re excited too! It’ll be a more brief experience through OR and WA because we’ve been there many times and we’ve got to keep rolling, but we’re excited for what we’re going to get to do! Thanks, Bob!
Love your videos! I will be following in your footsteps from Kings Canyon/Sequoia on up to Crater Lake NP, tent camping in all the national parks along the way in September. Your videos are giving me great ideas for hiking and things to see along the way. Thanks for all the work you put in to bring us these great videos!
We unfortunately won’t be of much help with Kings Canyon/Sequoia yet, but we have a guide on our website for Crater Lake if you need ideas there! Thanks for watching, Barbara and we hope you have a great trip!
I loved trillium falls trail. That was a really nice grove. And the falls and the trilliums were a treat because trilliums are also endangered besides being beautiful. The stout grove is great. And so is the drive to get there. Dirt road but very well maintained. Gotta love the coastal redwoods. I took a docent led hike through the lady bird johnson trail. Highly recommend
This video has changed my mind about visiting CA. These parks are unique and the trees just majestic! I have to see these giants before I die. Thanks for another wonderful video. Safe travels!
Hello again Adventurers😊😊, WOW...WOW...OMG...those trees are soooo BIG and so HIGH! Absolutely AMAZING! I also liked seeing the Roosevelt Elk...the last time I seen elk was in Yellowstone National Park. Adventurers, THIS was an AWESOME video👍👍👍👍👍👍!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! My wife and I and our two Shelties are spending our 38th wedding anniversary week in Monterey. We took your tip on Garrapata State Park south beach. We all loved the views from the bluff and the beach was fantastic. I spent many summer vacations at Jed Smith State Park. Love all your videos, safe travels. Watch out for them bushes.
I live in this area. It is truly special here. People from elsewhere have mentioned feeling it, especially if it's their 1st time. I have come back from hiking Fern Canyon to find a very large herd of Elk all over the place! They weren't there when I parked! So close it was thrilling! Yum!!!
I loved this video. It was part walk-down-memory-lane as I've been to some of the beaches and lookouts you guys visited. I'm pretty sure it was Stout Grove where we took a million and one group photos along a couple of side-by-side logs. But the video was also showing me what I've missed - namely Fern Canyon. I kept wondering why our guide didn't take us there, then you knocked the nail on the head at the end of that segment by saying you need a permit in peak months! I love how you guys embraced the weather and found enjoyment in it. I'm so miserable when the weather is miserable... it may explain why I re-located to the driest part of the UK! 🤣
Redwoods is such an amazing place! We’re glad we could take you down memory lane! Hopefully you can back and see Fern Canyon. We try our hardest not to let the wet weather dampen 😂 our spirits!
I wouldn't guide anybody to Fern Canyon either. Burns a lot of time, when there's more to show and teach in the same time. Fun canyon though. Here's a sample of the size and diameter >> th-cam.com/video/Y5HMCNs-jLI/w-d-xo.html
Just discovered this channel about a month ago and it’s been my favorite channel since. I am on active military orders and I miss home sometimes but your videos make me feel back at home.
Love love love Fern Canyon! We were there about 10 years ago. I will go back if possible (I live on the other side of the country), that whole area is beautiful. Thanks, brings back memories.
Yes! We went to Northern CA, Oregon Coast and Portland Oregon last Sept. Fern Canyon was my favorite! It was peaceful, awe inspiring. I kept exclaiming, "I think God lives here" and I am not even all that religious!
Redwoods definitely moved higher on my list after this video! Can't wait to see what route you take through Oregon. Hoping to see some of Central Oregon, waterfalls and mountains! If you happen to go through Sisters I highly recommend a Marionberry shake at Sno Cap if they're available
Your videos are all so interesting and beautiful. Two months ago, when I first discovered your channel, I ended up binge-watching all day and half the night. The list of things I was supposed to do that day did not get done. And it was worth every minute!
We just did Fern Canyon and Tall Tree Grove last week. It was great. Took my big 20 foot long truck to Tall Trees Grove and the parking was fine. You need a pass though to get through the gate. Great video!
I watched this video with my dad and he said to tell them “ they need new windshield wipers keep safe make more videos “ lol ever since he watched this he was hooked! Love y’all! Be safe.
Great Travel Video! More and more I have started to feel I have to visit this region of California some day! Incredible with all huge trees, nice with a historical perspective on the park framed by you in this video! I also really like the variation you show in the recording: The animals, the walks in the forest, the streams and the majestic views of the ocean! I have never thought California, USA could look as *beautiful* as this! Nice also to get a personal perspective from you as film-makers in this video. That you show how you *felt* seeing these Redwood trees. The way you cook your food, the way you drive and walk in water and so on. You have a *positive vibe* as a couple and good humour that is fun to experience! From my perspective to combine *objective nature shots* with *personal moments* drags me as a viewer in and make me more interested to see the place from a true traveller's perspective! Something on the negative side: Not something I thought about. You deliver a good sense of adventure here, it's also interesting to hear your stories making me more *immersed* into the whole thing. Good travel tips don't hurt either! The things I liked most about this video were the shots from the ocean with all these black islands stretching out into the sea: A really, really cool place! Great Travel Video! If you feel like it check out the travel section on my homesite "Continuation" where I have posted many transforming travel articles I wrote in South East Asia while travelling there some years ago. www.andreasingo.se/travelstories.html Enjoy!
Thanks for yet another wonderful video. Between your video and the one from Finding Our Someday, I am now thoroughly convinced Redwoods in general and Fern Canyon in particular are must see destinations when I do manage to make a trip out that way. Safe travels!
One of my favorite places! I call it Heaven on Earth ❤️ I love that you guys got to camp on the beach in Golds Bluff! A really interesting trail is Lady Bird Johnson trail, you walk through the old growth and then walk into an area of secondary growth where the logging took place. Of course Fern Canyon Loop is one of the best hikes to experience, hands down. Nice to see Kona playing on Golds Bluff Beach as well. Great video!
Thanks for the video. We were there last August for my birthday trip. We saw lots of elk. We camped at Elk Country Rv park and they came right into the meadow at the rv park.
making my way though all of the videos i love yall approach to videos and the love you to share thanks for the hard work i really do think yall are the best travel VLOG channel out there and I think i watch them all keep doing what yall are doing. Thanks
Wow great trip, I will be there in about a week. Staying at mill creek state park few nights, prairie creek state park 4 nights and Patrick's point state park few several nights. I will be hiking several trails myself. Even more excited about my trip after watching your video. I will visit Fern canyon also but hiking from the park campground 11 mile round trip. Hope the rest of your journey is great
A great video! Going out of season certainly made the park more of a wilderness experience! We were there last June with a lot of other folks. Thanks again for taking us on your adventures!!!
So excited for this one! My friend and I did a road trip to see these parks a few years ago. I'm pretty sure we did the Prairie Creek Trail too. The Redwoods are still one of my favorite national parks. Until you visit them, it's so hard to grasp how big those trees are. We're nothing but a blip on the map compared to them.
Beautiful! Wanted to walk the Fern Canyon but couldn't : ( . So glad you did it for me! Love the coast and the Redwoods are massive and gorgeous! Love the PCH!!
Hello, I have a trip planned to visit the Redwoods fall of 2022 in my Promaster van. Anchorage, Alaska is my home! You’re going to love your trip to Alaska! I hope Chicken, Alaska is on your itinerary!
Extremely impressive huge trees! Really enjoyed your well done video. We were in the parks just few days before your visits. I was following your posts and knew you were heading that way. Really hoped we may see you guys in that area. I even looked around the parking area to see if a Mercedes sprinter RV was around. We actually hiked the Boy Scout trail which is 2.8 miles one way. It took us 5 hours to complete. We are old people and just go slow.
We’re glad you enjoyed your visit! We usually post our videos a couple weeks after we visit somewhere, but if you see us around sometime say hi! Thank you and thanks for watching!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I know the time delay for your post. It is probably for the safety reasons. We were there a couple weeks ago and it did not rain but it rained after we left the area. I would guess you were few days later than our visits.

Thanks for coming to visit. You should spent more time next time. Looks like you had the place all to yourselves most of the time. Isn't that nice?
There are another type of Redwood forest too in Taiwan and Cypress Forest in China Tibet.

I love this National Park! Proposed to my now-wife on the beach after hiking from Prairie Creek, and before going into Fern Canyon! We'll never forget it!
The loop trail from inland Prairie Creek to coast is a classic. I LOVED that hike and overall experience. Oh, and Nature-based proposals are the best!
Congrats! Redwoods was so amazing and fun!
Yes that’s great spot for a proposal!
Congrats. That's how you do it. 🍻
The video is a great reminder to the beauty of the Redwoods.
For those who haven’t yet had the chance to visit, the actual experience is 1,000 times more incredible than anything you can imagine.
A visit touches your soul for life.
True that!
I had forgotten how green and beautiful Northern California is. Thank you for this video, brings back memories.
❤️❤️
Fern Canyon and Gold Bluffs is one of our most memorable camping trips before kids. We are finally returning back, this time, with our three small children. I can’t wait to see their little faces as they take in all of the beauty!

I like the way you talk but then quietly shoot and let the beauty speak to us. Thank you for sharing your fabulous trip together. Stay well.

If you haven't before, next time in California be sure to see Calaveras Big Trees State Park on Hwy 4 full of big Sequoias. Totally worth the visit. The Redwoods are truly awe inspiring. We just did Fern Canyon and Tall Tree Grove last week. It was great. Took my big 20 foot long truck to Tall Trees Grove and the parking was fine. You need a pass though to get through the gate. Great video!
Sweet! Glad you had a great time! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for yet another wonderful video. Between your video and the one from Finding Our Someday, I am now thoroughly convinced Redwoods in general and Fern Canyon in particular are must see destinations when I do manage to make a trip out that way. Safe travels!
Oh yes they are for sure must dos! Thanks for watching, Sean!
I love the beautiful footage in this video !! I love the Redwoods. ❤❤
Thank you! ❤️
A fan favorite for sure, I’ve taken many people here. No one complains
Heck ya!
Another great video! One if my favorite of 2022.
Thank you!
We’d love to check out that trail next time! Kona had a blast!
Just love the videos from this road trip. It amazes me you both are working full time too. Can not wait for OR next. 👍😄😄😄
This plus our website is our full time gig now 😄 thanks for watching!
Things are getting better and better 🤩 thank you guy's so much

Another great video and definitely a must visit place for me when in the USA next. Looking forward to the next video. Cheers from Australia
It is a must visit! Cheers!
Thanks for the video. We were there last August for my birthday trip. We saw lots of elk. We camped at Elk Country Rv park and they came right into the meadow at the rv park.
How cool! Thanks and thanks for watching!

Hope the rest of your journey is great
We hope you have a great time and that our video was helpful! Thanks for watching!
A great video! Going out of season certainly made the park more of a wilderness experience! We were there last June with a lot of other folks. Thanks again for taking us on your adventures!!!
Yes it was very nice with less people 😄 thanks for watching!
Went to Fern Canyon yesterday with my son because I saw this video a few days ago. Thanks for the tip about all the water!
Nice! We hope y’all had a good time! We’re glad we could help!
The Redwoods are to me the most amazing natural
Trillium Falls was my introduction to the Redwoods NP area. Was amazing! So many great trails in that area. Too many to name.
One of our absolute favorite places to go in the summer.
We don’t blame ya!
The Redwoods are very humbling and awe inspiring! Thanks for watching!
What a beautiful place!
Gorgeous National Park! It is so different from the rest of the state. Loved the video!
It is super gorgeous! Thanks!
Fern Canyon was beautiful! Glad you stayed safe from the dinosaurs! Thank you for the tour!
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful! Wanted to walk the Fern Canyon but couldn't : ( . So glad you did it for me! Love the coast and the Redwoods are massive and gorgeous! Love the PCH!!
Fern Canyon was fun and beautiful. We love the PCH too!
I’ve been waiting on y’all to get to Redwoods National Park! Never been but hope to one day! Great video guys!! Great catch Kona!!
It’s worth the trip! Kona could play second base for a pro team! Nothing gets by her!
Hello, I have a trip planned to visit the Redwoods fall of 2022 in my Promaster van. Anchorage, Alaska is my home! You’re going to love your trip to Alaska! I hope Chicken, Alaska is on your itinerary!
We are so pumped to visit Alaska! We’ll lookup Chicken! Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching!
