    Are those firebricks used in construction last in time to harden steel, to 800-850°C? Are they good or it is better to search for real firebricks? Thanks!

    Great job!!! If you were going to start over again, do you think you'd change anything?

      Baseline46 yes, i welded the door handle the wrong way on😅 have to fix it soon... and, the stones are for Temperatures up to 700C (1300F), they start to break. I have to replace it but the high Temperature stones are expensive. (~200$)

    Looks awesome! Would love to see a parts list in the description and some plans! Where did you get the pre-wired PID, or did you just wire it before the video?

    Great ! My wife wants to learn special porcelain hand paintig.

      이수영 don’t know the english name. Something like silicate rope, it’s used for the doors from woodstoves. And high temperature glue

    Where did you get the fire bricks

    • @thampfi
      @thampfi 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Butch Groom these are normal building bricks for some cents stable up to ~700C. I have hardened around 20 blades (~850C) and there are only some tiny cracks

      The white bricks you are cutting with the saw?

    • @thampfi
      @thampfi 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Butch Groom yes, I don’t know the correct translation but we call these „gas concrete blocks“ they are like foam and can cut it with every saw (use a old one) and file it or with a chisel

    Do you think your high speed movie serves any purpose, the more so because it lacks any explanation of the materials you used.
