ArtFX, you really deserve more likes, subs and views. I mean, those tutorials are really entertaining to watch and I really learn from them. I can't say that of every tutorial of other channels.
Hey man I've been watching your stuff for a while and appreciate everything you do for us. I wouldnt be near where I am in production without people like yourself, breaking it down in all the right ways. Thank you! Great stuff
Sick tutorial, made the sickest tune after this, love how all the random automation is used and rendered to create a big chunk of usable material.......more like this please!!!!
thanks for the tutorial. very clear and in-depth. very professional Neuro-funk sound too. this has jumped to the top of my list of things to try on ableton.
Hey, great vid, thanks man. I had a couple of questions... When you talk about staying in key, do you just keep track of what note the original synth was putting out and use that as a reference? Also, would you layer a sub with this, or does the sub in the resampled bass push enough consistently despite all the filtering and distortion? Thanks for reading if you do haha :)
There are so many great bass design tutorials already but almost none for creating awesome modern sounding drums. I think that making pro sounding drums is rather improtant than creating supercomplex bass texture. Now every newbie has great sounding basses in their tracks, but drums and rhythmical structures are just awful. Sorry for my english =)
There are tons of tutorials on drumsynthesis, sampling, layering, tuning, programming and processing. Study new york compression, parallel compression, and learn to skillfully apply parametric eq to every drum element for modern sounding drum tracks.
yeah and never any tutorials on how to arrange the song. They always say "how to make bass house" then spend 2 hours making some second rate bass in Serum...I wanna learn layout
there are plenty of tutorials on yt covering everything to do with modern dance music production. artfx makes neuro stuff and bass design is a huuuuuge part of the sonic identity of that music, so it's hardly surprising he dedicates so much time on the channel to it
@@ViralKiller erm you don't need tutorials on how to arrange a song, you can literally just listen to music and get ideas from there. it's not like production where you don't know what happened under the hood so it's harder to reverse enginner, arrangement is simply what goes where in a track, and it's very much down to genre and personal preference so you can't really "learn layout" from a tutorial i'm afraid
theres a site called freesound and many more sites like that where you can find foley recordings (or free) and stuff if you don´t record them yourself :)
Hey.please tell me,how do you use Izotope trash 2 to your access will be processed the batch, and what Phase 1,2,3?I understand Izotope is a separate channel? Thanks
Hey great vid thanks for sharing, may i ask if you have any bass traps in your studio space? Some relatively inexpensive bass traps can really help your low frequency standing waves. Cheers from Canada
No I don't, because I feel it's much more important to know what your setup sounds like than making it perfect in terms of acoustics. In the end I know what a good track sounds like in my room, so that's what I strive for when making music. I might do some proper room treatment when I move to a new studio, but for now I'm not even going to bother.
Fair enough. I mean truthfully most spaces with bad standing waves are difficult to polish up anyways. Just thought i would ask. I have heard signifigant low end detail improvement doing this but getting used to your setup is a great approach too. Thanks.
ARTFX STUDIOS 😂😂 funny guy I need too spend more time soaking in the rest off your tuts.. So many so little time too fit it all in along with production and general life
Holy shit! ¨All this started with a sine wave¨ this is great bunch of talent!

Great job, I love the paper layer .. adds a lot to the overall sound.

Paper idea is pretty interesting and it's cool that you used Operator.
Need this type of bass in serum!

@@wolfgangrecordings yeah I know now...I use a beatbox technique to lay out the song...I use to get stuck in loops all the time
This is dope!!!
it is amazing. thanks a lot !!!
Great tut! thanks :)
Hey how were you scrolling through the audio like at 25:00 mins? Were you using a hot key?
Hold alt then click and drag.

Treshhold. ARTFX 2017. (inspiring video!).
hey man! are you able to upload the paper crunching sample?

Also I was more leaning towards the recording of sound. Like when you record paper crunching and such. Not as much the monitoring side.
maak je achteraf nog een aparte sub layer of behoud je die van de neuro bass zelve ?
how did you get this green-blue-black- look? it's realy cool
matthew, you mean the disco theme right? but the eq,and the on-off buttons are blue that isn't normal
This is the skin I use, it's made by the same designer who did the GUI for Xfer Serum: pureav.deviantart.com/art/Ableton-Live-9-Skin-589338351
oh damn thank you
Bro do you even automate?
Can't stop fiddling with knobs mate...
