    A guy called Joe Filbrun has some interesting sound design videos, including generative patches and wave sequencing on MPC. The videos are using Akai Force, but most applies to MPC too.

      Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll check them out

    MPC 2.0 software is highly under rated. I’ve been with this software for a few years and it’s just starting to really get its feet under it. Literally didn’t have a side chain for years lol.

      It’s come a long way for sure! I’m hoping the live 3 will have more ram though if and when it comes out. My live 2 gets hung every time I try to bounce now

      @@Alckemy - that was a bug in the firmware - nothing to do with the RAM. The latest 2.11.8 firmware should allow you to bounce without issue.

      @@EnochLight I noticed! Happy to get back to the mpc. That was killing my workflow

    This is really dope to be able to do this on a MPC.

    • @Alckemy
      @Alckemy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was a pain during the last version on stand-alone because it would get stuck bouncing but I’m so glad it’s been fixed

      @@Alckemy That's great & they just drops os 3.2.3 for the Force yesterday but we still don't have the release notes 😕

    If you any make any preset packs for the mpc and any of it's plugins let me know!!! Also, I know you primarily use phaseplant (you got me to purchase it). If you ever make any keygroups or anything that I could use with the mpc definitely let me know lol

    • @Alckemy
      @Alckemy  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do have an expansion but I haven’t made a dedicated preset pack. Although I could for the opx4 sometime. I’ve been swaying into more iPad stuff as of late though as the power and workflow is a way more enjoyable experiencd

    15:05 wtf... does the MPC have Air Windows-Plugins or are these other ones?

    • @Alckemy

      The mpc has a lot of AIR plugins!

    I may need to buy OP, I make dnb and kina ignored these extra synths and kept sampling other synths as it isnt no NI Massive, do you think these are achievable in standalone?

    • @Alckemy
      @Alckemy  ปีที่แล้ว

      This has more flexibility than massive in a lot of ways outside of wavetables. But yes. It’s never going to be as good as a daw but that doesn’t mean you can’t get some great results

    • @Echobit101
      @Echobit101 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alckemy Neuro oh my, would you consider sharing this patch? Or just make a DNB Neuro pack then I don't need too.... but seriously if you did I'd buy it....

    • @Alckemy
      @Alckemy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Echobit101 there’s an expansion on my website, I may make a preset pack for op1 though it might be in the face of program racks since it needs more fx

    Excellent tuto! The OPX4 is a very juicy & screaming bass synth, there's quiet some times that I was looking for the perfect instrument to design Neurobass and here it is... It can sound really dirty and still being precise and versatile, awesome!
