I had already finished this model before watching this tutorial. Obviously there were differences, but I was happy (as a noob) that I'd pretty much followed the same plan as an expert. One thing I learned in this model is...avoid going back and adding things to a sketch after you've already used it to extrude/revolve/etc. You might change or invalidate the latter. Instead just make a new sketch.
Thanx for this! It took me 30 minutes, with one error. Turned out to be a simple diameter typo which made the part 2 grams lighter 🤬😅 Small tip for dual dimensioning at 3:40. Make the solid line through the center temporarily a construction line. Dimension against it and then make it solid again.

Awww yeah - you are gonna be the EXPERT soon!!
There’s a “simple hole” feature in SW too, that nobody is using(?). Makes me wondering maybe I should try it again 🤔
Great point!

Awww yeah - nice - I'll try that thanks!
I have a 6x20mm rectangle I extruded to 6mm. How do I edit the part to make it 30mm long, instead of 20mm?
Double click the sketch

I checked dimensions everything seems fine but I my answer 1431.66
What about your material density? Does it match the title block?
Also - you can post questions about specific models on the TTT discord (with images/screen captures) - Great group of guys in there!

Awwww yeah nice job!
