If we're being meaninglessly semantic then you're right. However, they clearly mean rocky worlds with high surface gravity and dense atmospheres, not anything with an atmosphere- such as this low surface gravity moon or Crusader, which is supposed to have low surface gravity as well.
The mission pay outs seriously need to be overhauled. The increase to ship prices and the much longer time to kill is showing just how pathetic the bounty mission pay is. On top of that, the paltry pay is split between your party if you decide to play with your friends.
Wholeheartedly disagree. In the current state the water is very far away from looking sweet, but I'm also eager to see how it will look in a year from now.
I more mean that the entire system is sweet more than visuals. Distant effects look good imo, but close up stuff definitely left something to be desired.
Oh, now I know why one of the roles is Orbital bombardment... That's quite destructive! Amazing video, just insane to think that this will be real in a few years. Also bro managed to create ILW before ILW lol.
as @Olli43 said, best part @5:03... Like a shot taken on Dune's Caladan. Also gives me heavy Star Wars Andor vibes especially with the design of the Javelin, very seperatist/Imperium-esque.
4:07. That. That right there is why Star Citizen gets my patience with its development. What other dev manage to pull that scale at that level of detail in an online mmo?. The level of scale and immersion can't be found anywhere else in an mmo. So until some other dev steps up (And i really hope they do) I won't pretend to know what developing a game like this is like.
The NPC Javelin is in the game for 3.23 missions, and it can be stolen the same way as the NPC mission Idris. The interior is only partially there in sections. This year for fleet week in 2 weeks we will get to formally tour the SQ42 completed Idris and have to board one as the final Xeno Threat event mission. I have seen it once, its huge, a flying FPS arena. The Javelin has a partial bridge and 3 of the central decks we toured for fleet week last year.
@@eltreum1 im so out of the loop i thought the idris and javelin wouldn't be in the game for ages, what kinda missions spawn them in cus that sounds so fucking cool
@@Dolphinio A UEE Javelin vs Idris' battle is part of a world event in the spring called Xeno Threat and will be happening soon. In the past we just had to help destroy the Idris' but this year we will have to disable and board one to fight the final boss in a ship boarding raid. The Javelin also was used in Arena Commander Pirate Swarm scenario, but I think the Javelin was replaced with the 1KM long Bengal Carrier for now due to a turret bug for this patch series. The Idris regularly shows up in the Miles Ekhart missions for an extreme risk mission and sometimes SOS combat beacons. Players have stolen it from NPC and gone joyriding in it but that may be patched out, not sure. Plenty of YT vids of it. The SQ42 Idris until tomorrow docks at stations for player to tour it all during the fleet week event that has been going on last 2 weeks. It's a huge flying FPS map with a hangar that holds 3 fighters. It was the Javelin taking on tours last 2 years for fleet week of its central 3 decks. The NPC Polaris is also running around with the fleet week event guarding the docked Idris. CIG last said once we have server meshing so we can have multiple solar systems the playable caps will be released with Squadron 42 launch. SQ42 is feature complete and in polish since last summer. It is assumed an official date will be announced at the October Citizen Convention in Manchester. Most guess either xmas 24 or summer 25 but you know how dates and CIG go lol.

first iterations of such tech isnt meant to be phenomenal, but judging from how it reacts, the fluidity of it, already gives you insight on how better it can be in the future.
Depends on the Javelin you steal. There is one that does feature quite a decent chunk of the interior :]. DUDE! SO F876ING EPIC!! i cant wait to se that in person in the game damn! that made me SOOO HAPPY! LOL the flybys were my fav part :D looks just EPIC AS f AND I WANT MORE! LOL
We actually tested that to some degree. Flying this thing for around 30 minutes ended up spending around 350 000 aUEC in hydrogen fuel. Also we figured out that if one of the 4 secondary main engines get destroyed the repair cost is only around 40 000 aUEC. The prices for repair are still a little bit weird but the hydrogen prices are brutal on this thing. You don't really need to refuel all that often though, because its a Javelin after all.
Time to test out the Super Thanks…

that's pretty generous
On the ERT, It's a good ship or we have to down it?
