Thank you for allowing us to go with you...I am paraplegic and in a wheelchair and trips like these are a bit of a mobility issue for me so I thank you so much for allowing us to follow your journey. God Bless You brother.
Thank you for watching. Its comments like this that help drive me to go make the videos I make. If I can be the vessel to help someone see the world I feel like I am helping do my part. Thanks again!
I know just how LottoStud feels. I'm stuck in a hospital for at least another month but I felt like I was walking right beside you. Thanks for bringing us along with you!
Check out Faces of the forgotten channel he does the same thing. There is also Lamont at Large as well. They both are very respectful when they are talking about the person and are very detailed. They both do cemetery walk-throughs too.
All deaths, especially those unexpected, are heartbreaking. What makes Troy’s even more devastating is the trip on the Helicopter wasn’t a planned trip…just spur of the moment. I’ve always been a fan of MG….was blessed to see them in concert and was blown away by what a fantastic show they put on.
He was one of my idols and I got to say it rocked my world when I heard he died, only time I have ever cried when a entertainer had passed, I met him in knoxville after a show and he was awesome!!!! Will forever be missed
Thank you for posting this. As a photographer, I have had the fortune of getting acquainted with Troy and the band over the years. He still missed today.
I enjoy your videos and the respectful way you walk us through your journeys. I saw Troy and Eddie perform three weeks before this senseless tragedy happened, and was so sad for the two families. What a show! They were enjoying themselves as much as the audience, and their delight in making us all yell for more was obvious. The good guys. I absolutely don't, and never have, believed that "everything happens for a reason". It just happens because that's the way life, and death go. There was no reason for this decent man to have died so violently that day. So long Troy. Thanks for the memories. Eddie, I hope the enormous pain of your loss has become manageable. Troy' s family, I'm so very sorry. You must miss him terribly.
I’m curious why he wasn’t buried in Lexington which was his hometown. I got to meet him and Eddie when they were filming parts of the My Town video in Lexington. Really sweet and humble men. I adored them so much. Troy’s passing makes me cry every time I think of it
Thank YOU so much for showing us Troys grave. I'm a big fan and LOVED their music. I cried when I heard the news. They were Great. Will always miss him. 🙏❤
Skeeter Davis was behind you in the first clip...I was a local Florist that serviced that Funeral Home and know the family. I live on the other side of Chattanooga now. That put in sidewalks and the gazebo since I worked there. Nice Job....Pam and staff
This is sad Troy and Eddie is two of the greatest singers ever I grew up listening to their music on the radio Rest in Peace Troy I remember that day he passed it was one of the saddest days ever 😢. Thanks for the video
The Flying W restaurant is near where I live in Riverside, NJ. My husband and I were going to go try to see them to give them a picture of my recently adopted cat that I named MONTGOMERY GENTRY in their honor. Sadly, the accident happened before we could get there. The cat, just turned 6 years old.
Thankyou for sharing sir. It’s sad that this talented gentleman’s life was cut short at the relatively young age of 50. His music will live On through the ages though.
omg this man is from my hometown, born n raised, that’s so cool. rest well troy. glad to see some products of lexington, ky making it big and making dope ass music. wow, that’s so cool man 🫶🏾 glad I stumbled upon this!
Thank you for the videos. I completely understand how it feels to lose somebody who has been your friend for a certain amount of years. It's really heartbreaking. May your spirit live on,Troy Gentry.
Him being a celebrity I was expecting an elaborate grave marker or site.. I was surprised it was pretty basic. I loved Montgomery Gentry. I have a severely disabled child & they say things happen for a reason & to never question God.
September 8 was a sad day in country music not only did we loose Troy gentry but we also lost the gentle giant don williams may they both rest in piece
Yes I liked Montgomery Gentry . I remember when they came out. Eddie was John Michael Montgomery brother. I think I heard during a news brake, only they said airplane crash and reported he had died, it was a shock, my heart went out to his wife and children, as well as Eddie Montgomery. Troy was still young, full of life. I don't think no other you tube has shown Where Troy was buried. I was happy when they won Duo that year, not that I don't like Brooks and Dunn. Up until then they had not lost. It was nice to see Eddie and Troy be apperciated. It was just a shock. Knowing he was on his way to a show and Montgomery and Gentry was to perform that night. Sadly the helicopter went down both Troy and the pilot was killed.the news acted like Troy had already passed. Knowing sometimes news get it wrong either way. Montgomery Gentry fans lost Troy. I remember how Eddie would pick up the microphone stand and twirl it around and hoping it didn't fly out and hit nobody. Troy that smile, you just remember Troy Smile. Thanks for taking us along. It's my first time seeing it too. RIP TROY LEE GENTRY.🙏💔💐🌻🌷🕊🦋🌠🌌✨. Love, respect and positivity always. Neita James. I see my twin Vee watched the live. I'm glad one of us did. 👍💯❤🙂👋.
My ex-wife personal knew Singer Troy Gentry who died in the helicopter crash on Sept. 8 in Medford, N.J. Her parents where neighbors with the singers parents in the Prestonsburge, KY Hollow neighborhood in which they resided in at that time.
New subscriber and this story still breaks my heart since I am such a big country music fan and a fan of their music. :( Sure it's really good news for Troy since he got to go home to be with the Lord, but it sucks for his family, friends, and fans. Ah well, until the day we meet face to face, fly high Troy! 0:-)
Never seen his grave site either Thanks! My niece love him & me to even my Doberman did to his song Hell Yeah,he had a football (,Dog toy) & you cld record on it & yes that song Hell Yeah & I wld show ppl & he wld hear his football ,he came running & took it from me that was his ball only this is no joke you can ask my niece Husband . R..I.P Troy 🙏 sure are miss.😥 Hell yeah you are.
You failed to mention the argumentative 911 operator that refused to dispatch EMS without a precise address when the helicopter crashed. Big factor in his death. It's all on the 911 recording. The pilot hovered for over 10 mins waiting on rescue before having to ditch.
Rescue was waiting. They couldn’t put themselves in a situation of being hit by debris or explosion. Nothing could’ve been done to save him. Too much trauma.
I liked him as a performer, but hated his animal abuse. Even when the news came out on Chicago radio US99 that he had fenced his property and brought animals there to be killed by himself and his friends with rifles with no way to escape. The on air personality jokingly said on the air that "Eddie may need to start looking for a new partner"
I'm like why wasn't troy buried in his home town of Kentucky. That's where he was born at and should be been laid to rest totally. Pam Johnson McPherson ks
The bear he blew away was named Cubbie if anyone cares...when he blew his brains out he held up a thumbs up and said hell yeah...big brave hunter... see the video if you can stomach it...
I am a friend of MG since 1999. Is his family aware of this video? I have NEVER disclosed where his grave is, out of respect for Angie, Kaylee & Taylor. Not even in our Fan Club Groups, though asked by alot to reveal where it is. He gave us so much in his full yet short life! They shared him with us so unselfishly all these years! I feel this is their private time. Please don't misunderstand me. I am only speaking from my heart. T-Roy, "C'Ya On The Flip Side," My Friend! "Love God, Love Others." I Know That Smile Is Illuminating All The Portals Of Heaven! We Will Meet Up Again In That Great Meet & Greet In The Sky! I'm Not Saying I'm Perfect, But I'm Working On A Better Me! Rest in paradise Troy gentry
His wife's birthday is the same day as mine. Rip Troy Gentry.
Wow. It doesn't seem like it's been that long ago. Is this cemetery off of I65?
That took a piece of American s heart.
❤️
I miss Ole T-roy. They were so great together.
Thanks for a job well done
He was a Kentucky boy and we love and remember him
if I remember right I believe Don Williams died the same day.
I think you have the wrong Montgomery. It was not John Michael that was in with Gentry. Love your channel by the way
He and don Williams passed away on the same day.
Saw them play a few times

Michael will be tough. it almost impossible to get in the building he is at. John was cremated. sadly we will never be able to visit him.

Troy was definitely a great entertainer. His death was very tragic.
I wonder how many people still remembers Don Williams died on the exact same day
2 shockers Michael Jackson and Troy Gentry both died at 50
Kinda crazy...troy gentry passed away on patsy cline's birthday-damn that's weird!
RIP Cubby!
Have you ever thought of going where Mary Travers is
She is added to the list. One day I'll head up to the northeast and visit some one the people there for you and I to see.
Troy Gentry was a simple man that died in a helicopter crash. RIP.
So sad.
T Roy is with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Ronnie Van Zant and the rest of the greats
He died too young...He was a GREAT SINGER
What happened to the helicopter?
Never gett'n on a helo.

The grave is available on find a grave. If it wasn’t listed I would not have done the video. Someone before me found the grave and tagged it.

Ok. Thank you for explaining it to me. I meant NO disrespect to you. It caught me off guard. Take care!🤗🥰
Off subject, but consider a leg-length lift for your right leg.
Sad
Rip ❤ I enjoyed your music
I wouldn't say legend but nonetheless R.I.P.
No disrespect intended, however, I have never heard of Troy Gentry.
Wow! His wife was cheap! I. Guess she keep all his money and bought him cheap marker
Killed a tame bear god is in control
