My test came out to a 87, and yes it sucks but at least we have the answers right? Glucose helps the body to break down fructose so you can ask your doctor how to balance that. It’s not as rare as you think:) It’s just being more researched and diagnosed. There’s tons of information now 2023. Cocoa is my go to! Tons of vitamins and magnesium and especially with some pure fermented cocoa nibs in there and some sweetener = a life saver
The brownie recipe is amazing. I have a fructose and lactose intolerance and for the first time in my life I could digest brownies without every digestive issue you could imagine. I love Frusano so much!
It's crazy how inefficient doctors are... I have only been eating meat + fruit, but still felt bad sometimes with 100% all the fructose intolerance symptoms. I really don't know how to deal with this exactly. I just know the carnivore seems to be the answer. And I didn't either grow a lot. 170cm/5'7" ...
I just want to say that this is the only video I could find on the internet on someone detailing their experience with fructose intolerance. I started my journey about 5 months ago, right when this came out, and I remember watching this video, reading the comments from people that had the intolerance and feeling so so terrified. On basically every social media platform I have been on, people make this intolerance seem like a living hell. In my personal experience, fructose intolerance can be more simple to manage then it seems. I know that this varies from person to person a lot, but I thought I could eat ZERO fruit, be entirely Low- FODMAP and almost never eat sugar or go to restaurants with friends and family. It turned out only certain things trigger me, like mango and garlic. (of course, a lot of other stuff too haha) but It's entirely livable and will not make eating out with friends miserable, like I thought. Unless you have hereditary intolerance (which is crazy rare, and still find if you do!) my dietician told me that there is no long-term negative affect on the body, accept for feeling icky when you have too much. So if you just found out the news and are scared or even just uncertain, know that it will be ok. You will figure all this craziness out, and when you do, probably feel a ton better! *Sorry for a bit of a rant, just wanted to put this out there. Have a wonderful day!
Hi, I have HFI and this is my first time trying to find someone with this disease. I've never met anyone like me, so I'm searching the internet out of curiosity.
Anytime I eat fructose I feel like I’ve been poisoned…muscle pain, joint pain, dizzy, lack of concentration, burning in my head, and horrible mood. Can anyone relate??
@@ChrisBessy I’m assuming, i did a test where I ate a spoon of agave and reacted. Then a separate test where I ate a spoon of glucose syrup and no reaction happened.
I did a full dna genome test for giggles. Found out I have a rare FBP1 full gene mutation. p.See321fs 1.5 out of 10,000 people with it. It explains why my IBS is horrible after fructose consumption. Crazy to find this video. I have gone carivore now. It is amazing how i feel so much better. So little on the web on this
I was curious to know how you are getting along? I was diagnosed with fructose malabsorption in 2021. You follow the elimination part of the low fodmap diet for about 2 weeks and then begin a challenge phase where you begin to add foods back into your diet one at a time. If you have a reaction, then you know what you can't eat anymore - I have reactions to wheat, garlic, onion, etc. After you complete the challenge phase, then that's called a modified fodmap diet. You'll know what you can tolerate and can't. With me, on top of that I'm also following the GERD diet and just found out I have 11 food allergies - lemon is one of them. I've also been given a genetic test to see what else I might have. I haven't gotten the results yet.
Omg... That is really bad... Normal Sugar includes 50% of Fructose. Be careful with all products are made with Sugar. I had a lot of symptoms, was really often sick and weak. Fructose, Sorbitol and invertase etc are really bad. Fructose malabsorbtion is very hard enough but youll find a way to live with the intolerance
As far as I know, the 50/50 ratio in white sugar (I'm assuming that is what you mean by normal sugar haha) is made up of glucose and fructose, but the glucose in the sugar helps balance out the fructose, meaning lessened symptoms. I also have Fructose Intolerance and I'm no dietician but this is what my dietitian told me.
Keep a food diary and go onto an AVOIDANCE diet, avoid all food that irritates your gut. Sometime when two foods are eaten together they have an effect but no when eaten individually. th-cam.com/video/7sZ6aQwg52w/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rSmjznKzcgOTlExE
Sugar is not fructose or lactose. They are different. Google is not always your best friend. We have cow's protein intolerance. Soooo no dairy but can have butter. It's an interesting journey with intolerances.
Maybe you should not have drank the coke, my test had me eat rice and boiled chicken 24 hrs b4 and only water for 12 hrs b4 test so your test is wrong . Not saying you are not suffering from fructose intolerance but drinking a coke with corn syrup only adds methane into your gut that is why you blew over a 100 or whatever it was, bet you didn’t tell your doctor that you drank a coke

When simple sugars such as sucrose (or table sugar) are heated, they melt and break down into glucose and fructose, two other forms of sugar.

Monash University in Australia came up with the Low Fodmap diet. Read what they have to say about it.
Hey my name is Candice and I got diagnosed with fructose intolerance about 20 years ago in Germany. If you got questions I can try to help

Look into Sorbitol sensitivity, it is most fruit, apples are the worst.

I have casein and lactose intolerance:o
Sugar/sucrose=fructose+glucose/dextrose
Sucrose is table sugar
Hello, can you make an update video for us on your progress based on what the dietitian told you?

The specific test my doctor gave me instructed me to drink a coke. We must've taken different tests!
