I love playing Vergil in this game and can do some neat combos (that is, bread-and-butter combos for real matches, not overly flashy stuff like this), but I never quite got the hang of Dante. So I used Wesker instead. It worked out nicely.

Its called jump canceling, as the opponent is being sent up by the spinning sword right near the end of it you press down down up S. It cancels the ending animation allowing the teleport to kick in. the same applies for all of the acid rain extenders.
The blistering sword combos always catch me in awe, was it difficult to pull that combo off (the portion with just Vergil anyway)? I might want to style with that combo

Have you ever seen the Dante Vergil combo video where dante and vergil are fighting and they do a bunch of special moves on each other without either of them getting hit and finish by using lvl 3s on each other? I can't remember who had it in their video...

The 1st 3, or 4 mins was like ape shit awesome...and then it kinda died down from there,even tho they were nice ass combos . I love dante and vergil to death but I just cant get those fucking crazzzzy combos like that off. That takes some hellified practicing

DHC glitch. Not exactly certain what happens game wise, but it comes out as the opponent being a similar juggle state to right before the last hit of Million Dollars, and each successive DHC increases the height that much more, allowing for crazy combos like the ones we saw.
with dante: how do u "s" hit them up into the air and than spin the swords and bold cancel teleport up into the air? ive been trying to accomplish this for sometime
Yo CRINALE5 I noticed you reset the groundbounce quite a bit with Dante. I do this too in my combos alot but I don't understand 100% how it works. Do I just whiff the last part of skydance and I can connect volcano to beehive over and over? Cuz I have this sick ass combo with Dante but in order for it to work I need one more ground bounce. Anyways badass video dude :)
It's the positioning of Sky Dance that allow for ground bounce resets. Above is usually where you want it. In front might slam them into the ground again and that will count towards the ground bounce anyways.
holy crap that is amazing ive only got mvc3 and i cant do more than a 30-50 hit combo with dante. but now they ad vergil u can do amazing combos with them both. can u do a 300 hit combo or is that impossible with any characters?
This made me wish I was better with vanilla Dante. Oh well ultimate Dante may not be as broke but he definitely is more broke when he has his twin to help him. So, vinalla Dante was a one man team. Ultimate Dante has a very broken partner.

Volcano has a jump cancel during connection that is treated like a bold move. During that jump period input another special, like Revolver. Do it too early you get Beehive, too late and the combo drops.

After Prop Shredder there's a window where the jump up is like a bold move. During that psuedo bold move you can perform anything like Air Trick.

Characters like Dr.Doom have infinite combos so yes you can get 300
