If you go to shops like this in Europe (The Netherlands) with the whole time your Phone out and scanning everything and filming yourself I think you be asked in 10minutes to leave the shop.🤣
The big flaw to doing this is you will be sitting on inventory that you don’t want. I’ve been sitting on a few DVDs and games that have not sold in a month. So it’s not a guaranteed way to make cash. It can be but you really have to have high demand games or items for them to sell. Just because something is valuable doesn’t mean you’ll be able to sell it. I only look for things I know for a fact will sell (Mario, Minecraft, etc...) Also, there’s no guarantee that someone will actually pay what you think it’s worth or what you see it selling for online. Some people just aren’t willing to pay those kind of prices. There’s a lot of assumptions in this video. There is definitely some great information here and I learned something from watching this!! But it’s really a guessing game with higher probability the more informed you are. I know this because I’m trying to do this myself and it’s not an easy task by any means. $200 a day doing this is very VERY unlikely. Possible, but unlikely. Way too many variables to say that anyone can make $200 a day doing this. A.) Finding a place that has this stuff. B.) Finding things that are valuable or high demand. C.) The condition of what you do find. D.) The price that you actually buy the item at. E.) Having the time to actually hunt around for this stuff.
I hear you, reselling is no walk in the park. However I’m not assuming anything. If you sold on amazon you would understand that each item has a sales rank, which tells you how fast it sells. Combine that with the fact I’ve sold dozens of copies of many of these games and I actually have a very clear idea of how much something will sell for and when. Limiting yourself to super popular IPs is a sure way to make much less money than you could. And of course when I started I wasn’t making $200/day, but now I’m selling an average of $500/day on amazon alone.
@@PhoenixResale Good Information to know! For sure! Your channel rocks! I’m mainly just stating the fact that the average joe making $200 per day relies on several factors that I just mentioned.

Have to disagree with you there Tony. The entire video was about how to do the research on each individual game to determine if it’s profitable. Maybe you weren’t paying much attention, but the information was there for anyone who was.
I collect video games on my channel. This place is super epic I live in Canada and the only place I have went to on the states for game hunting is gamestop
Hey Caleb, most games I've been coming across just seem too scratched for me to comfortably sell without testing (if I don't have the capability to). Do you run into this at all and do you clean/repair them in any way? Maybe I'm just overthinking, I just resell on the side so I'm still new to it.
Yeah if it makes you nervous either test it or don’t buy it I’d say
I've been holding into my Gameboy Pokemon catridges and just noticed an alarming surge in price right now. Would you suggest to just sell everything? I've been putting stacking them since last summer, expecting them to rise in money but with a 100% price spike damn... What to do? haha
I’d personally sell. Bird in the hand.
@@PhoenixResale All right, I think it's time
Anyone else find hidden clearance at Walmart for 3 cent video games then Walmart not selling them to you because it “isn’t allowed”?
Yep lots of folks have been having that experience lately
Magicians quest is the first game I ever sold on ebay
I think it's insane how on the wwe no mercy can be worth $300+ if it has a -1 after USA!
Thanks for the knowledge! Q: do you look at BSR and have best practices for that? You should do a video on how you do this with pawn shops. Q: Do you have a priority order for sourcing?
I don’t know what bsr is so no haha
@@PhoenixResale BSR = Best Sellers Rank on amazon. helps determine how fast something will sell. Example - PS4 prototype hazard bundle game has a BSR of 32,975 in the video games catagory. this is a could be a great opportunity. I usually look for games with a bsr of 10k or less. (helps turn faster). Q: how do you judge how quickly a product turns?
I’m pretty certain this is in Lexington Ky
Brother have any of the employees asked you what you doing there scanning all kinds of games?
Not often, if they do I just say “price checking@
Not first, but... Trying to show the eBay algorithm who the real boss is!
I thought those minecraft story mode games no longer had all the content as the servers have been shut down.
I stopped picking them up because every one I sold was retrurned.
How's it been for you regarding that title?
theres a poliwhirl in the pokeball on the poster lmao
so how much would you make on this after the amazon fees? the 15% and the 1.80 closing costs?
The goat 🐐🔥
A Goat does not boast and show off his profits. No need to.
@@PhatChanceAthat respect the grind
Maybe a dumb question but as a reseller how do you know these will sell for sure?
Sales rank and experience. Video games almost always sell if priced right.
How do you know if the games are in good working condition when making a purchase? Do you test every game at home? How do you handle returns?
I don’t, I don’t, and I process them as they come. Bound to happen sometimes.
@@PhoenixResale how do you word a ad for a game you dont know if it works or not?
Anyone else wishing they had a game store period?
