The Turtles in Time cart is authentic. For the Super Nintendo, many games had 2 sources for production. Japan and Mexico. The Japanese manufactured carts are usually the "first" print and have a more glossy finished label. The Mexico manufactured carts are usually revisions of the game or later manufactured prints and have a matte finish. With the Mexico manufactured carts, the matte finish makes the label art look a bit hazy or fuzzy. They are 100% authentic. When I purchased my copy of Turtles in Time, I bought the Mexico variant unknowingly and thought the same thing. A little investigating assured me that it was authentic.
I’ve always loved how reselling and stock management works. When you don’t have much stock people tend to maximise their profits by selling online but large stocks sell better at lower average prices for others to maximise theirs on. It always works out for both parties
It's crazy that a sealed 90s Pokedex is going for $250. So tempting to off load my sealed one but hard to part ways with something so nostalgic! Love the vids man, keep up the great work🤙🏻

That's cool vendors can buy from other vendors allowing each other to get first dibs on things before opening. I think it's nice that you all don't see it as competition either.
I helped my friend set up at some conventions. Some of the stuff he did in his set up, I would put into my set up when I sold at our local flea market. And yes...I always loved to look at the stuff before anyone could!!!

I have been having a blast doing this business for 2 months now. Got some isane deals and sales, i just can't believe this is even possible! Problem is, i bought some really cheap and cool handheld systems (psp, psvitta, n3ds, gb color) and i just fell in love with them, just costs me to sell them hehe. Ty for the motivation!
@@dmytropoliakov3505 there's zero problem with people selling games. In fact I would agree it's nitpicking that someone is selling games with little knowledge of games. But to ME, I do find it weird. I usually prefer people with experience in the field of what they are selling. The more experience and passion for it is a lot nicer.
I have a coworker who is into RPGs and he has everything back to gamecube and never sells/sold any of his games. I know he has the fire emblem and put off buying wii for a while so he has the Zelda Twilight princess, also all the rare DS and 3ds games. I can only imagine what his collection is worth
I have three large boxes full of ps3, 360, and wii games. I got into collecting rare and valuable games (ncaa football 14 for example) at various GameStops back in 2019. i knew this stuff would go up in value but watching this is getting me excited to go see what they are worth now. great video nice work

That's how you do it. Purchase sealed games...I've always purchase more than one popular franchise title at launch sometimes I would purchase 5 of the same title game at launch I've been doing this since 1985 NES days and till today.
pro tip: when buying gamecube games , especially expensive ones . make sure they play . what i mean by that is a game cube game can be resurfaced , but because they way there made with small form factor. repair machines sometimes resurface them incorrectly. inspect the disc carefully.

Man, I love your videos. I'd like to have a crack at doing this, one day. Only because it's about the best way I know of collecting games, for myself. I have a large collection of all platforms, but I'm always limited by my budget and there's some games I simply cannot afford. Thanks for showing us how it's done and for the community you've built!
I had Luigis Mansion back in the day. One of the first games I bought for my game cube. Crazy, had no idea it was worth so much! Wish I knew what happened to it.
That TMNT for SNES is indeed real. "Made in" Japan & Mexico had glossy labels and stickers on the back. "Assembled in Mexico" was the Majesco reprints with terrible quality carts, labels and imprinted labels on the back. There are Majesco versions of quite a few games. Notable ones are Mega Man X, Earthworm Jim 2, Lion King, Aladdin, Contra III, Goof Troop, Super Castlevania IV, Street Fighter II and a bunch of others. They had those black & white manuals. The seals on those boxes are also REALLY weird if they're new. They look resealed with loose shrink wrap that doesn't even seal all the way on the back. I personally *hate* them cause the carts feel cheap and the labels get destroyed really easily with no coating on them. But they are real. I feel like values haven't really caught up with those being lower quality, and they play fine. I just try to avoid them whenever I can. Others don't care much. Congrats on your pickups!

Paused on every "and this" right at the beginning. I grew up mainly with GAMEBOY, END OF PS1 TO PS2 AND XBOX/ FIRST ONLINE EXPERIENCE WITH THE 360. So many classics. Im Glad my Dad also had a taste of the older gen so I enjoyed some Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 with cousins.
When I saw that Pokemon Emerald version y jumped off my seat and paused, it instantly brought me so much memories of when i was a kid and played that game for hundreds of hours, unfortunately I ended up loosing my gameboy with the cartridge on it on a road trip and by that time the DS was already around so I just couldn't get a new one, damn I still remember that Christmas morning and seeing the holographic box with the green cartridge on it, so many memories...
I can not speak to video game flipping, but you're certainly doing something right on YT. I occasionally watch a speedrun, but YT suggested a video & before I know it I've watched 5. Lol. I'd love to see some stuff on grading. In the early 2000s I literally went from town to town hitting up local card shops & buying all of there high end vintage to submit to psa. Its how I made a living for two years. Words of advice, you can only be early to the party once....
