Back when Discovery Channel was about science and technology they had a show called Frontiers of Construction which ran a 2 part 2 hour program about the construction of the Burj Dubai which was surprisingly good for a TV show.
I remember seeing the Burj khalifa(That time, it was called burj Dubai before abu dhabi king bought it) when it was being constructed back in 2006 during my second visit to Dubai. I was 13 at that time when I visited Dubai. But I went to the 148th floor after 12 years in 2018 during my third visit to Dubai.
I went to stay there for a day. As a birthday surprise, I was 6, at that time. It was the best experience ever. My 3 year old brother jus kept on drinking the free mango juice in the fridge😂. There was T.V which was the best tv ever, for that time, and there was a private swimming pool. Outside, when I was swimming there. It was so unreal. Just imagine, a private swimming pool on the tallest building. And yes, a private one IN A HOTEL ROOM!. Best time ever.
