I'm not pregnant and I don't have kids. But I consider vidéos like this ✨future research✨ so I won't have to learn about everything all at once in a few years.
Please do a More Hannah video on how your home has changed with the addition of your baby. Everything from general purposeful child safety things to unexpected ways Rowan has changed the way you two manage your home.
My baby absolutely hated the Lanisoh nipple cream, she was literally a day old pushing my boob away because I had used some. One of the nurses suggested using coconut oil instead. So my husband and I made our own "Boob Tubes" by filling empty lip balm tubes with coconut oil. This made application super easy and mess free.
BULK FREEZER MEALS. 12/10, Dan 👏👏 I love how you've incorporated reusable and thrifted items into your repertoire where possible! Sustainable deodorant that also achieves its intended purpose is the rare unicorn we'll all forever be pursuing.
@@morehannah I use secret brand (non pH balancing since pH balancing gave me a rash). I’ve also tried Lume (didn’t work), Native (baking soda rash), and Tom’s (didn’t work()
I‘m not planing on having children anytime soon but I saw the lanolin in the thumbnail and I had to come here and say that it‘s the best lipbalm ever. My dermatologist recommended it to me because I had an eczema flare up on my lips and it has helped a lot. Lanolips is basically the same thing but more expensive so I use the Lansinho one at home before I go to bed and before applying makeup.
@@morehannah And now I'M jumping on this comment because my boyfriend struggles with stress related eczema and has been looking for a cream that is effective and does not need a prescription! Already recommended it to him and I think he might try it. From Hannah's nipple cream via Nina Marie's lip cream to Hannah's (2 :D) boyfriends eczema cream, I love this channel! :D
Hey Hannah, wanted to thank you for the video's you make about the pregnancy and now as a parent. Im currently pregnant for the first time and as a person who worries a lot, these remind me to also look forward to all thats to come and enjoy these new experiences. Also the hormone diaries series helped a lot.
Love Lanolin. Great for pretty much everything. It's the still on the sheep's wool that keep the sheep protected. Can even feel it on the sheep. Great for small cut protection, lips, I have used it on small burns (I burn myself insanely to much when cooking... and the cheese grater has it out for me too) I literally have a small tube in the kitchen for these occasions lol. Also worked great on my nephews eczema when he came and worked with us. Also use it on pet cuts and sores. Valuable stuff it is ♡
My personal breastfeeding/pumping favorite this time around (3rd baby) is an app called baby tracker to record feedings, bottles and pumping sections. You can put a lot more info in there like dirty nappies and naps but it's completely customizable and the ads on it are pretty non invasive. Also, can't live without my pumping bra. I bought a random set from Amazon, it's amazing. You can also completely DIY it with any bra you don't mind cutting (did that too). Good luck to all the new parents out there ! You can do it 🤗 Best wishes from France
Breastfeeding support groups!! Couldn't have survived my first two without, and now expecting my 3rd any day now, the group no longer runs, so I'm setting up my own! That's how much I need it 😂❤️
I can recommend that specific deodorant for your thighs during summer as well. It has completely stopped my chub-rub and I can finally wear dresses without cycling shorts underneath ❤
I've found the deodorant trick works just as well with all deodorants, aerosol or roll-on (I can't remember if I've tried the regular store solid ones too btw!
Not intending on have kids of my own, but I love watching your videos! So interesting! I would love to be a cool auntie so it'll be useful in a few years hopefully.
Pro tip for your pump, if you know you'll be pumping more than once a day you can store the bits in a zip lock bag or airtight container in the fridge between sessions so you don't have to wash and sterilise every time. Also I love the idea of happity! I need to see if there something similar in my area 👀
I love your video's! Even though I dont have children and probably never will have children, I really enjoy watching people on TH-cam who are pregnant and vlogging their pregnancy and postpartum journey! I already watch your videos religiously for years so enjoyed your videos even more for the last year!
Nice 👍🏻 keen on the breastfeeding outfit video. 2 months pp myself and defs struggling with only having like 4 outfits can actually wear out (and kinda just got lucky in that they are a dress and a jumpsuit with buttons down the front). Have just taken 2 of my long flowy dresses to have zippers added at the side so become boob accessible, have yet to go through the rest of my wardrobe and plan/sort in out (esp necessarily for when go back to work), but hoping to avoid buying many new items .
I never leave comments, but can’t not mention it - we have similar age babies and this postpartum I used Wild deodorant and IT IS POSTPARTUM SWEAT APPROVED! 🎉 didn’t stink, although I stunk with all the other deodorants. And it’s natural 👌🏼
Lanolin does meracle work. My girlfriend was experiencing climate induced nipple pain and my dad (an obgyn) suggested lanolin. She tried it with immediate relief. Interesting stuff. It's made from sheep wool processing. My partner and I call it the sheep sweat.
I am 7 months pregnant with my first child and I love your videos! I have a few chronic conditions and patologies and I am already feeling shame that I am not a good mother or partner since I have unrealistic and unreasonable expectations about how well I should be coping with everything. You inspire me going through all your struggles and surgeries and living your best life! I hope I have a hysterectomy soon which will help me tremendously with just being able to have a more pain-free/functional life 🤞
sending you lots of love ! And if you don’t already I would recommend checking out Jessica Kellgren Fozard’s videos. She is a disabled parent and talks about that!
I had my kid 5 years ago and watching this has brought a lot of things back! I wish I had better breastfeeding support.. managed 2 days and gave in to the pain, terrible latch and bleeding. I’d also had a c-section but it was planned due to breech position. Fav books were man v baby and unmumsy mum!
I am sooo with you with the deodorant. I don't have a baby. I'm just a sweaty human. I was using that big brand of natural deodorant and was like really pleased with it. Then like it got warm and I got soo sooo sweaty and STINKY. So I tried the big brand of plastic chemically deodorant that I used to use. Oh my god. It's so effective. Works so well. Imma stick with the plastic chemically brand I think. Sorry environment.
Pump tip! I have the medela freestyle second hand. I love it (using it right now as I type this) but wanted wanted start donating milk and you can't use second hand pumps so the bank reccomended Bellababy, the pump is just as good and was less than 50 pounds. 🤯 it also has clips so you can pump straight into freezer bags.
My favourites for when I only have one hand available (which happens a lot when breastfeeding/caring for a newborn): pop socket for my phone and water bottle with a built in straw (I use kambukka).
Also great for breastfeeding/pumping: small hot-cold packs! Cold for sore nipples (or perineum/vulva in the early days) and warm to simulate letdown before pumping.
That magnet thing, you'll want to restructure once he craws :D Everything breakable goes, everything eatable too, small parts are no no, but everything else.. my, my, everything else will keep him occupied sometimes for a full 40 minutes at a time! That's how I cook now - the child is locked with me in the kitchen, she's playing with the magnets, and I'm cooking.
I have the same medela pump as you, but I would not recommend it to anyone exclusively pumping. I ended up having to exclusively pump for my little one. Apparently short nipples can cause issues when breastfeeding. It still does the job, but a hospital grade one would actually be more gentle. I haven't bought a hospital grade pump as breast pumps are quite expensive. The medela freestyle is definitely meant for people who traditionally feed and pump. I also do not know if you have found that you need to bend all the way over just for the pump to work properly so that expression actually works. I have to and it is really annoying, but that could also be due to my stupid nipples.
Second comment but my current approach is I use both my Wild reusable deodorant as well as a regular Rexona roll on. Use the Wild like right after the shower, if I know I'm staying home all morning/ whenever, then just the other when know am going to be out and about in the hot, or if feel need it.
Hey, could you share your favourite nursing bras? there's one that you wear in most of your videos recently (part pink one) if you could share? Thanks!
Oh my gosh, I'm beyond jealous of the baby timetable. I live in a town of 2,000 and we don't have anything like that at all. Ive considered becoming a child exercise instructor to provide like mommy & me classes because there just is absolutely nothing. It's an hour each way to the nearest "city" which is still small and we have done for baby gymnastics, but it's so hard to coordinate.
woah!!! that deodorant brand has like a different name depending on what country you're in, lol. In the US it's Degree, here in France it's Renoxa, hahahahaha, that's funny
I used to love all the magnets I had on my fridge but once you have a crawling baby/ toddler who wants to grab everything you have to take them down again 🙈 or be able to move them out of reach (magnets are a significant hazard if swallowed as I'm sure you know).
Just fyi, the nipple cream you have is great for rashes and little booboos i use it instead of other ointments on basically everything since it's no big deal if they eat it... super helpful for little face scratches
Just make sure that the magnets are unbreakable and not a choking hazard, because you little nugget will take them off all the time, and munch on them within months 😆

I mean...yes? Most natural deodorant is just that -- deodorant -- not anti-perspirant. It won't stop the swearing, just minimize the bacterial growth.
