butterfly joint mod can make the joint loose, both butterfly and shoulder articulation may be compromised, in general this figure's joints become loose rather quickly, heat and stress to the joints while attempting the mod could seriously result in a flimsy figure

Glad u brought it up, but it isn't looser than figures with other butterfly joints where the shoulder peg isn't keyed into his chest, eg. Deadpool, Symbiote Spidey, etc

lighter fluid, rub it off with cotton swabs or cloth.
isopropyl alcohol can work too or just a plain rubber eraser

I don't do painting cos it's hard to make sure it stays durable
