It's basically a GT2 RS Clubsport with different body work. The GT2 CS is pretty close to stock as is so this engine definitely has some breathing room in it for more power.

Drove up to pikes peak today and omg I was so scared - watching the video it just made me scared for the driver as alot of places there isn’t any railings. Stay safe - so glad I got to experience - so beautiful !
Your not wrong about being scared. I drove up there last Thursday and we almost couldn’t go all the way to the top because of a storm that had just passed. We got lucky and they opened it up as she was explaining the rules to us. I couldn’t even drive up going at 20mph and look down at same time. Respect to anyone that races up this road.

Я обажаю проходить этот подъём в Dirt Rally, но получается не особо. Я сейчас смотрел и афигевал с того, как круто этот парень проходит трассу и с того, что в реальности этот подъём выглядит почти точно так же, как и в Dirt Rally. Непередаваемые эмоции
I have the Dirt Rally version as a mod in Assetto Corsa and can drive it in VR. It's very cool, highly recommended!

Drove up once and most terrifying ride ever. And we were only going under 20 mph. Vertigo on the hair pins with no visual reference just a thousand foot drop-off. Beautiful but very scary. Very good drivers that can compete in this race.
I drive on these roads all of the time and I have no idea why anyone would have the experience. Some people are just... wired differently and just don't experience those emotions and can just perform, perform, perform.
Try mount Washington, still dirt roads at higher elevations.

@@ianmclaren5297 Not anymore. Drove up it a few times last summer and had no idea they paved it all until I hit that section. I kind of miss the dirt, even on a bike. It was something to remember, and scare the hell out of you for sure the first time.

My man, you hang out in 4th gear wayyyyyy too much. With 700bhp and a 9000rpm red line, you should be in 3rd with the greens on... you're bogging the engine and it hurts the ears :(

Great driving and very nice videography throughout the video. I’m surprised how much Jeff has to turn the steering wheel, I guess he didn’t want it to be too nervous if the steering was higher geared.
What an awful road repair up there
Yeah. That horrible patch job for the final portion up top is the only time I felt a bit nervous for dude to lose it and fall off the damn mountain. Without proper downforce, he might have. It's a sin against automotive history to ruin that road with such shitty repair work.

That gearbox does not like going down to 1st lol
it's the ecu not the gearbox. it's a safety so the motor doesn't overrev. he isn't going slow enough to safely use 1st gear without overrevving the motor. so the ecu won't go into first gear until it knows the motor won't overrev with the current speed no matter how many times he clicks it
