About the show:
The nationwide search for the next superstar kicked off in August, as the Idol Bus traveled covering 23 cities across the country. Auditioning was made easier than ever as hopefuls also had the opportunity to submit audition videos online as well as via select social media platforms using an official tag The Next Idol cultivating over 300,000 posts. Also for the first time in “American Idol” history hopefuls had the opportunity to audition through a livestream platform.
Helping to determine who America will ultimately vote for to become the next singing sensation are music industry forces and superstar judges Luke Bryan Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Host and producer Ryan Seacrest will return as host of the beloved series.

After watching the final 3 performance, I could see that Maddie is a true winner. She gets taste in picking the right song, she's cheerful and relatable, her voice is so authentic, she's being herself all along. The judges and audience just love her.
This girl is a true artist, just naturally, unlike the other girl who has been singing in front of ppl for years. She truly sounds like a superstar. Hoping she wins it!

I mostly just started watching TH-cam videos instead of full show so don’t have to sit through everything. I watched some of Gabby and a few other contestants. And to be honest. If I would’ve been watching this season. Gabby would’ve kind of annoyed me. Because it seemed like on some of her songs. It mostly sounded like she was screaming them. Just because she can since she has the big voice. Which annoys me when people do that. Because just because they have that big voice doesn’t mean should feel the need to scream all your songs. Pick certain songs and certain moments. It doesn’t have to be over done all the time. I know she doesn’t on all of them. There’s a few I’ve seen she hasn’t. But the first few videos I watched she sort of seemed to scream the ending. And it didn’t impress me that much lol.

Maddie is my favorite in the competition, but I wish she chose a different song. Chloe put this one to rest. I really didn't want to have to compare the two.
This song has been a fan favorite of hers for a while. It has always been requested in almost all of her live streams she has done, she knew her fans loved it so she did it for them :) love her she is very dedicated to her fans!

I'm sorry but I hear some pitch issues. Nothing spectacular. I liked Huntergirls performances this year SO MUCH BETTER. Watch Hunters final performances on the final show and not only was the crowd so much more enthusiastic BUT the judges responses were much longer and passionate. It doesn't surprise me Madde has not had a great career, she just sounds a little above average to me. NOTHING personal, I'm sure she's a sweet girl and I wish her well. Never watched that season but the few clips of her she's a step below season 20's female vocalists, top 10, that's for sure.

since when a Judge Vote for a Contestant she sounded Good But To be Honest I think Caleb Just came on Top from the other two and then Maddie and then Gabby last Thing I don't know why The Judges always gives the Standing Ovation Every time they are Being To Nice They Can't Even Critique Right they Need Better Judges who can give Them actual real Critiques Like Simon Did even Though he was a little Harsh On The Contestants since He Started as the Judge in Season 1 my advice Don't Be Like Simon be Honest and Be True To Yourself if you want To be a Judge on American Idol give them what they want to hear for the contestants some of them might be hard not to harsh and not to nice just be who you are
