I caught a flat on my inner drive just before a blitz. Still had to pull in. It just happened. Didnt get a fine. But was put out of service til repaired. Never had any points. Been driving 5 years. Now i have two points. How does this hurt my future employment opportunities??
Sure…will do! In the meantime, here’s a live show we did a while back that gets at that issue: Trucksafe LIVE! | Ep. 15 - Anatomy of a CMV Accident th-cam.com/users/livea2Aduunz-dY?feature=share
Yesterday DOT gave me warning for code 395.8e which was a lie from the officer, my hours done and I used PC to find parking, I explained to him it was night and was hard to find parking and I hd to drive another 35 miles to end up parking at the ramp of a rest area which was the closest to me. I asked him to give me citation and he refused. It’s my first warning since 5 years. Any advice?
Okay i just went through a safety blitz. Enroute, coming from one job to the next i caught a flat/ leak that i was unaware of. Well it was discovered. I was put out of service, and got it fixed. No ticket or fine. Just (DVER). And violation 393.5A. Is this considered a Moving Violation. Or a failed DOT inspection only?
@RidinWitKenny If the future employer pulls your PSP report, then the violation would be visible to them for 3 years. Not all carriers pull PSP reports.
Brandon, I find your content extremely useful,
keep going!
If a light bulb needs to be replaced. Is it pass or fail?
do you have to send in reports to applicable state on warnings only or only when out of service
So helpful thx! What does VERIFY mean following OOS and Citation # columns you so eloquently and excellently explained?

You skipped the column on the Examionation report in VERIFY. This is the ONLY thing I wanted your take on.
Can you make a video on post accident procedures (process) please?

So if the violations are corrected within 15 days and return to the agency they wont report the violations to the SMS system ?
They still get put on your SMS account, unfortunately.

If an officer doesn’t sign the bottom line where the officers signature is asked X______________. Can I dataq that like a ticket that isn’t correct?
There is no Level 4 Inspection?
There is. But it’s rarely done and not worth mentioning in this video
Is it better just to get a ticket to fight any violations, rather than a warning?
Certainly gives you a better chance of success.
So no citations no points?
No points on your license but there can still be points on your PSP record.
@@Trucksafe would that count against me with future employment opportunities?
